Waxed Canvas Hat Tactical Operator Low Profile Brown

Very pleased with this purchase. I wasn’t too sure as it’s a hit/miss with upstarts. However, right out of the box the material feels quality and fits perfectly. I highly recommend this hat! I like the operator style up top also. came with promo stickers and thank you hand written note! Differently a first for an Amazon purchase! 5 starts for this veteran owned business.

I was looking for a waxed canvas hat for daily wear and Fieldcraft hit it out of the park! The velcro sizer allows for a totally custom fit which is a huge advantage over the typical plastic sizers. This hat also doesn't have the annoying "button" at the top so wearing with shooting ear muffs or a headset is completely comfortable. The waxed canvas styling is well done and definitely adds to it's water resistance. The hat also looks absolutely bad ass and kills it with the ladies.

This is a great hat. Nice low rise design. Rugged materials. It quickly became my favorite weekend hat. Looks cool.

I love this cap. I’ve had problems finding caps that have these features that actually fit. Either they fit but look too large like Smalls in The Sandlot or have the features I want but don’t fit my larger head well. This cap solves all my issues. No button cap on top so I can wear my hearing pro without the hearing pro strap pressing the button into my skull while on operations. This cap also stows very well, when I’m not wearing it, it hugs my thigh in my cargo pocket. The brim is fully adjustable and holds its shape well. Being waxed canvas it sheds water most excellent. The subdued flat brown color blends in better than tan or black in certain environments (woodland and jungle). The hook-and-loop fitting strap is strong and doesn’t slip like other caps I’ve had. I’ve literally tossed caps while on missions because of the suck factor and I have a feeling this one will be with me for a long time. If you want a true operator cap that helps not hinders, buy this cap.

Material is not canvas, it's cotton. It's also not waterproof. It is comfortable and the bill comes curved.

Hat is super comfortable, light, and works well with any strap over the head (headsets, ear pro, ect). I cannot stress how comfortable the fabric is. Look forward to using in the summer.

This is a much lighter quality than I thought it was described. It's not made of canvas but instead a thin cotton sheeting. It is stained to look like it is oiled/waxed but it isn't. I dropped a few drops of water on the cap to see if they would roll off which is the purpose of a waxed cap but instead it absorbed it like a cotton towel. It has a cheap looking clear shiny but dry coating on the fabric. I would describe it as "in the style of...or, made to look like...a waxed canvas cap but it definitely isn't one.

Been looking for a while for a new quality hat. I run through hats quickly with international travel for work and hot Texas summers. This hat is high quality, fits great, and is comfortable out of the box. It’s so hard to find a quality low profile hat these days. Thank you for making a great product.
