Red lights not too bright to ruin night vision but provide ample light for walking around a dark house.

These lights are great! I purchased them in green. I love that they are just bright enough to allow me to find my way around in the dark, but not so bright that they wake me up completely if I get up in the middle of the night. The color is soothing and not garish. Because they have sensors, I don't have to remember to turn them on at night and off in the morning. The second it gets dark, the lights go on and when the sun comes through the windows, the lights turn off. Also, they're fun to look at and kind of funky. My husband and I like them so much that I just ordered two more sets, in blue and red. There are several places in our house where we can use them.

It does what it is supposed to do. The brightness level of this light is exactly where it should to be. When you wake up at night and your eyes are adjusted to the dark it provides enough light so you can easily see where you are going. If your eyes are not adjusted to the dark, this does not provide enough light to see, but that is not what a night is for. The red color is great because it is the farthest away from blue light that triggers your brain to start waking you up. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars, is because it comes on too early. When the ambient light in the room is still way too high for this night light to be of any value there is no need for it to come on. As a result it ends up running too many hours per day. I put one a Kill-A-Watt meter for 27 days and calculated that it costs $1.37 per year to run it for a year based on $.092 per kilowatt energy cost in my area. That’s not very much, but it could be about half that amount if it didn’t come on until the room was dark enough for it to do any good. Overall, I am happy with this product.

I got this in the multicolor to use as a night light in a very small kitchen in an outlet over the sink area and it pretty much lights up the whole of the tiny kitchen. The design of the night light is beautiful and modern. It does the job. I can go into the kitchen at night and not have to turn on the bright overhead light just to get a drink of water or use the sink. Perfect for my needs and it is just really cool to watch the colors change. I like that it momentarily goes light blue white between colors. Again, wonderful overall design.

This is so perfect. It lights our living room without being the glaring brightness of a white or amber light! It’s great for getting to the kiddos room without crashing on toys and doesn’t bug the sleep cycle with a stimulating color.

UPDATE: It appears that Greenic offers a night light with a larger square-shaped light diffuser, which looks like a better design for diffusing light. If I decide to get another 2-pack, that's the model I'll get. In the meantime, I placed little paper "bonnets" around my night lights to keep the glare down and diffuse more light to the environment. (See photo) ___ This looked like the least gimmicky red light night light. The light diffuser is very bright, so unless you have your back to it, it's difficult see the room by the light that is casted. At the time of purchase, there weren't a lot of options for this color. Also, the photo sensor is way too sensitive. In one location, it is on all day, even with light shined directly on it. (See photo)

Works really well. I use it for my bathroom. Cool colors.
