Excellent Practice Pad – Great Feel, Quiet Rebound, and Perfect for All Skill Levels
As a drummer with a mix of stage and garage experience, I’ve gone through a few practice pads over the years—and this one really impressed me. Whether you’re a beginner working on fundamentals or a more advanced player trying to tighten up your rudiments, this pad does exactly what it should. 🥁 What Stands Out: • Realistic Rebound: The surface has a natural stick response that feels close to a snare. It’s not too bouncy like some cheaper pads, but not dead either. It gives you a true feel, which is important for developing technique. • Quiet Enough for Late Practice: I’ve used it at night with the family sleeping and no complaints. You get a solid feel and sound feedback without the volume of a real drum. • Non-Slip Backing: The base grips well to most surfaces, whether it’s a table, snare stand, or even my lap. It stays in place while you play, which is huge when you’re running drills. • Durability: After hours of use, it shows no signs of wear or denting. The rubber is dense and resilient—built to last through heavy practice sessions. ⸻ 🔄 Versatility: I’ve been using it with both 5A and 7A sticks, and it responds great either way. I’ve also loaned it to a student who’s just starting out, and they loved it too. It’s a solid option for all experience levels. ⸻ ✅ Final Verdict: If you’re looking for a dependable, high-quality practice pad with a realistic feel, this is an excellent choice. It’s durable, quiet, and responsive—the kind of tool that helps you actually improve without needing a full kit. I highly recommend it for students, hobbyists, or even working drummers who want a portable warm-up option.

Great solid pad, Shipping was the main issue.
BEFORE READING NOTE - I had to contact the Manufacturer to receive my product as it did not show up despite 2 day shipping. Other than that there weren’t any issues, Onto the review (Video is a longer version of this review providing more details, Ignore crazy i look) This is a Durable drum pad with a great feel to it. The beads provide an authentic sound allowing you to actually feel like you’re practicing the drums and not just tapping a pad. Worth the money but the wait was crazy, If you’re looking to practice without allocating the full amount if a drum set then it’s a go. The bag allows you to carry it many places with Straps on the bag to put on your back and Clips to increase portability of the bag, You can take the separate bag for the pad Off or you can keep it there. The sound in the video Does not do the actual pad’s sound justice But the sound of the pad does vary somewhat depending on the surface you’re using. The stand is very solid and if correctly used a Great tool, For other taller people if you chose to stand with it there could be issues but i’ve done it before at 6’1 but primarily use it seated, Cant remember how it was but the stand does go from short to tall based on what the preference of the user is. Overall its function is definitely fulfilled and the quality is on point even down to the box that it was shipped in. The care put into the design of this product is astonishing and its recommended for anybody who’s on the fence to at least order it for a test run as its a wonderful product. Donner does not short people on the quality of their products and shall rightfully boast the products they sell. Overall 10/10 pad, Once again Amazon’s shipping was the primary issue.

Solid Drum Pad at a Good Price
This is the best practice pad I've ever used. It's big enough to actually feel like you're playing on a drum head, but still easily portable. Having a rim means you can practice rim shot technique too which is a huge plus. Comes with a nice beginners snare exercise sheet and a decent pair of drum sticks. It's been really nice to use since my wife and I just had our first kid and it's been hard to practice on my actual kit. One piece of advice is I like to prop one side up slightly as it feels more like how my actual snare is set up.

Very cool! Nice simulated sound that isn't too loud and the removable noise option is cool too! Recommend!

Great value and quality for the price.
Good, realistic response. Snare sound is a plus, but not too obvious.

Sturdy. Easy to use, and put together. Weight was perfect! It was heavy. Functionality a plus. Fits perfect in my small apartment. Plus, it's perfect practice pad is apartment friendly. I have been wanting this since I was 10 but my mom did not want drums in her house. At 72, I thought why not? It's never too late to have fun!
