Ingredients: (Quantities: follow box recipe or use your chef's intuition) • Water • Amazon instant mashed potato flakes • Olive oil – I use Spanish EVOO* • Puerto Rican adobo** (seasoning) • Shredded Parmesan cheese - (no salt or milk required) * Olives have distinctive character profiles. Spanish OOs typically share a rich flavor unique to the region. Might be due to the Iberian soil. I once used a fine EVOO from another noted country and the potatoes did not taste as scrumptious when seasoned with PR adobo. They did taste just fine with plain salt, though. Seems like the recipes of PR adobo evolved to be most harmonious with Spanish EVOO. Directions: 1. Combine all ingredients in a microwaveable bowl to the desired consistency. 2. Note that PR adobo contains a greater variety of spices and tastes much richer than ordinary mass market adobos, which are not recommended for adobo potatoes. Adobo white rice with Spanish EVOO, with or without Parmesan cheese, is superb. A quick fix is to use 90-second microwaveable Jasmine or Basmati rice.

SO good, added a tbspoon of butter , but didnt really need it, they are smooth, great tasting, and wicked cheap

Rather nice tasting by itself. At a good price too. Honestly will be buying this again. Compare it to the price and taste of other brands. I find no reason to not buy this brand.

Taste is a little bland unless you really add seasonings to the cooking. Yes I know that is normal but this brand is just more bland than most. Thickens nicely and is just as easy as others but I like to go easy on seasoning. Just notpossible with this brand.

These potatoes are just as good as the idahoan brand they taste wonderful and they're so very easy to prepare and also augment if you desire.

Was good for a quick side, made it to pair with a test batch of chicken stuffing. If you don't have dairy, EVOO worked just fine, mixed with garlic salt and other seasonings. If you prefer more of the buttermilk flavor, definitely recommend getting your butter and milk per the box instructions otherwise it will be bland. Downside to the price point is you might not actually get everything you paid for, due to packaging. It is not packed with a bag, the flakes are loose in a cardboard box. My other order items were coated in the flakes that seemingly came out from the corners of the box.

Just got these and added them to my crock pot of Clam Chowder for thickness. They are fresh and definitely worth buying at this price. I took them out of the box and put them in a a really good sealed container because I don't want those pesty bugs in my kitchen ever! No, these didnt come with any bugs... Thank the man above. Lol ... Expiration date is way ahead in time too. These are definitely great for thickening up anything.. a little bit goes a long ways ..
