Gachiakuta 1

This was the first physical manga I’ve ever bought, and I couldn’t have picked a better one! Gachiakuta Vol. 1 is intense, gritty, and absolutely stunning to look at. The art is super detailed and full of energy, and the story pulled me in right away. Rudo is a great main character, and the world feels raw and unique. If you’re thinking about getting it — do it. Totally worth it!

Really good book

It's definitely a formula battle shounen, but also the storytelling's kinda on the shounen/seinen cusp (which makes sense, since it runs in Weekly Shounen, the same magazine that does Loser Ranger and Rent A Girlfriend.) It's absolutely not like a full Fire Punch or anything, but there's spots where it made me think about Fire Punch while I was reading, and I wasn't expecting to do that. There's real charm to the art too. Bold thick lines. Strong contrasts. Facial features distorting with emotion until a character's eyes are pressing at the edges of the panel. Puts me a little in mind of edgy 00s alt comics, but by way of My Hero Academia. The theme of treasured things being thrown away also feels fun. The plot moves quick, so it isn't harped on, but there's room to dig in and say something interesting. I'm definitely interested in reading the rest. If it can build on this energy, consider me fully invested.

I don't have much to say, I just received the manga and plan to pack it up as a birthday present, and from what I've seen so far it's pretty solid. It smells fresh, kind of like ink and paper, and the manga itself is very sleek and the pages are not wrinkled or torn. The issue and the reason I take a star away is because the spine, as photographed, came slightly damaged. It could be worse, which is why I'm not too upset over it. Overall, would recommend so long as you're not put off by the potential for damage.

Art is unique and the story is immediately interesting and fun. Same character vibes as cyberpunk but with landfills instead of futuristic tech.

I started reading the Manga after seeing the anime. Absolutely love this Manga.

My daughter loved this. She's been drawing her own Anime and has used this as inspiration. Loves the characters and story and already asking for the complete set

Style, mystery and intrigue. I haven’t felt this good about a Shonen in a long long time. Amazing power system and I can not stress enough kei urana is a genius of style. Only kubo(BLEACH) stands on this level with her

Apparently my package was opened and also my manga had like a dent it was bent but overall it was alright.
