This stuff is the best for Fascia cracks. Dries hard a s a rock, no shrinkage. covers excellent. Expensive? Yes!! That's why it works! Get Some!!

The patch compound works well overall. Good: • Easy to use • Long shelf life • Easy to remove. Bad: • Expensive • Unpleasant odor • Not expandable (limited for larger gaps)

First use was flawless. Worked easily and looked great. Although the can was opened for less than 5 minutes, second use the next day was problematic. Product pulled away from itself, leaving zagged, raggedy surfaces. Just installed, I'm unsure of the longevity of the patches. (Patching window frames and redwood siding in a historic home.)

I've tried them all - the spackles, the wood fillers, joint compound etc This is my favorite. Comes in a generously sized container, goes on smooth, dries hard. I use it for nail holes in trim and for gaps between baseboards and floor when the baseboard is not scribed properly. I have noticed that under certain conditions it shrinks and I have to go back for a second application but it's still easier to use and gives me better results than anything else.

I use with on walls and also wood surfaces and put on with Knockdown Knife and water spray bottle for great finish and it dries hard in about an hour
