Fantastic Harmony replacement
I've used dozens of Harmony remotes over 20+ years and Logitech pretty much had the market cornered. Their withdrawal made me concerned that I would not be able to find a suitable replacement. Physical numeric buttons are very important to me due to using these to type with on-screen keyboards and for quickly jumping through lists (pressing 2 twice to jump to a list starting with B for example). The Harmony Elite and the Sofabaton X1 are of no use to me due to not having physical numeric buttons, (virtual numeric buttons on a touchscreen is just not comfortable or speedy enough for quick access) I initially tried the Sofabaton U1 but found the infrared range to be very problematic and the number buttons too small. I gave the U2 a try due to the infrared changes and increased size of the number buttons and I was relieved to discover that there was indeed a HUGE improvement. The app is very efficient and makes wirelessly programming the remote a breeze compared to Logitech's terribly clunky software. Due to the ease of the Sofabaton app you're able to add commands from the comfort of the sofa if and when you need to make any changes. The database contained the majority of my devices and the couple of commands I needed that were not available I just added manually with the learning command which worked perfectly. The U2 is now nigh on perfect for my needs (backlit buttons would be a welcome addition but not a deal breaker) and I've now purchased 6x of these for various rooms around the house and I'm thinking of purchasing more to keep as spares. Bravo and please keep your products alive for the foreseeable (and please don't remove physical numeric buttons!). :)

Not as good as I originally thought.
This is an excellent product.Beautiful design, very broad functionality, ease of use, excellent customer support. It certainly seems to be great value for money.I've been using it now for a couple of weeks and it truly is a top class remote.Just be patient when setting up as it takes a little time.Mistakes will probably be yours as the product works flawlessly. Update: Unfortunately as much as I like this remote it has one major flaw. The scroll wheel is a disaster. After about two weeks of use it became very loose and erratic. It is very difficult to land on the device you want to use.I don't want to knock the manufacturers too much or cut my rating either as it is a noble effort. If I had a guarantee the scroll wheel problem was solved I would purchase again but at the moment it has turned out to be a very irritating item to use.Such a pity.

Needs lot of work to be as good as Logitech Harmony
Bought to replace Logitech Harmony 650 which failed after a very long life Pros Good to handle Seems well finished Does eventually work Can be set up via phone Cons Battery cover almost impossible to remove, had to eventually use a rubber glove Buttons are hard to press & have an annoying click Difficult to programme & lacking lots of codes Insufficient buttons, needs more that can be programmed to suit individual needs Cannot adjust speed of response e.g Disney + cursor frequently over shoots Display seems pretty pointless, only function is to show which item you are controlling. Missed opportunity

Ideal replacement for Harmony remote
Another one of my Harmony remotes gave up so with only one left I began my search. Reviews for the U2 was mixed but studying the functions I decided to give it a go. Setup was okay has some difficulty connecting via Bluetooth to my phone initially but once connected all went very well. No hub here but not expected for the price. No activities but the macro's work very well. IR and Bluetooth connections available which is great when connecting to a Nvidia Shield. Overall very pleased and quite relieved that there is a viable option post Harmony.

Poor quality. Avoid
Edit: 6 months after buying some of the buttons started to become squishy and hard to press, and less than a year after buying the scroll wheel no longer works, making it useless. I would normally try to get it repaired or replaced under warranty, but I have just thrown it in the bin. This is a real shame as it could have been great, but poor quality components make it a piece of junk. I really wanted to like this remote. Since my Harmony One stopped working, and Logitech stopped making remotes, I've been looking for a good replacement. On the plus side I found it very easy to setup and customize keys using the mobile app, much easier than the Harmony, but this has 3 fundamental flaws: 1 It doesn't have any special function buttons on the remote that you can allocate additional commands, such as jumping straight to Netflix 2 The screen is only used to select devices. It's not a touch screen and you can't add buttons to it But worst of all 3 You can't adjust the key transmit speed, so in Sky Q and on my Sony TV almost every key press on the remote sends two presses to the device so it constantly overshoots menus. This is advertised as working with Sky Q, but it really doesn't work well at all, it is extremely frustrating to use. I bought this a few months ago and am still using it despite the frustrations, but as soon as I find a better remote it will be replaced.

Functionality good, battery-life shockingly bad
Having already bought the X1 SofaBaton which is excellent, the U2 SofaBaton has truly dreadful battery life. I have now bought a rechargeable AA-battery set for the U2 as so bad: there are a lot of complaints regarding battery-life on the internet and they are true. Functionality is good and copes with my 2nd limited setup on infrared perfectly whilst 'alive'; and the mobile app is great as well. Note to help battery for others: stop the app on the mobile and/or disable bluetooth, and ensure 'sleep' via app/settings is on --- it'll help a tad but not a lot. Overall, would not recommend.

First you will like the remote, it looks perfect. But after usage you will find that the rolling wheel is a big lie. It will take you long time and many retries to change the selected devise with that stupid wheel. Moreover, there is no support, be careful. SofaBaton will just till you that it is not their business, contact Amazon for a replacement.

App is easy to install and use and the controller has a good feel and well made. The system is easy and only took a few minutes per device. I set up a TV, Fetch Box and an Apple 4K box, super easy.

Device was good while it worked, after a firmware update, it just stopped working. I contacted support via the application and email and they haven't responded back. It's been a week. Makes me wonder what would have happened in the future with any other firmware updates
