Draper04491 Paving Brush

Takes a lot of graft but you can see from the pictures it gets the job done very effectively. I have monoblock paving with thick grass & weeds coming through and this done the job much easier than getting on my hands and knees. The handle isn't the best quality and was quite rough with splinters. Brush head is very effective but doubt I'll be able to use it again after this job. Recommended but don't expect long term use.

Good tool works well as a maintenance item.If paving is completely overthrown and dirty it will clog quickly. But if you have powerwashed your paving it's a great tool to do you monthly maintenance for moss and weeds.

We have block paving at the front of the house and it is a constant problem keeping the weeds down. We have tried a gas burner, hands and knees with a scraper, a hoe, pressure washing and poking it with s stick.Then we bought this little gizmo and what a brilliant tool it is. It's shaped in such a way that you don't need to put pressure on it.I bound the end with wet string to stop it slipping through my hands after prolonged use, so I recommend that. Also, some of the wire bunches have become dislodged but it still works a treat and I will buy another when the other one wears out.

The only slight problem is if you are tall ( I am over 6ft) then the pole is a little short for me and can be a bit hard on the lower back if you get too eager! It cleaned my block driveway getting all the weeds moss and soil from the cracks. Now for the weedkiller to have a better effect than previous years and finish the job off.

Works well and does what it is supposed to do. But to be honest it's actually still far better to just get down on your hands and knees and pull the weeks out in my view. Good exercise and quite therapeutic!Also be very very careful and test it on your paving stones before leaping in as it does tend to scratch softer stone.

I bought this brush in order to use it on my block paved drive. It is great and did exactly as it had been described.The negative was that soil/clay gets blocked in between the wire brush head and it is difficult to clean.Otherwise a good idea and a reasonably priced product. Well worth the money.

Easy to use, effective, minimizes kneeling and good value. I have use many different tools, scrapers, sharp points and flame throwers but this is the most effective. May buy another as a spare.David Waby
