Highly Recommended
I recently invested in the Pearl Drum Stool D-50, and let me tell you, it's like sitting on a cloud while drumming! From the moment I unpacked it, I could tell this throne was built to last. The height adjustability is a game-changer, allowing me to find the perfect position for maximum comfort during long practice sessions or intense performances. The round vinyl seat is not only incredibly comfortable but also easy to clean, which is a huge plus after hours of drumming. The single-braced tripod base provides excellent stability without adding unnecessary bulk, so I can focus on my playing without worrying about wobbling or instability. I've used other drum stools in the past, but none have compared to the quality and comfort of the Pearl Drum Stool D-50. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned pro, I highly recommend investing in this throne for your drumming setup. It's a small investment that makes a huge difference in your overall playing experience. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!

A Solid Throne
The Pearl D-790 Drummer's Throne is a good quality item. It is well-made, sturdy and up to the job. The finish is very good. The majority of the metalwork has a quality chromed finish. Once the thumb-locked fasteners are secured, there is almost no movement in the unit. However, if you prefer the seat to pivot, then simply loosening the upper thumb-lock fastener will permit the seat-top to pivot nicely. Comes with an additional thumb-key for setting the seat height, which can be adjusted quickly and easily (the key happens to be the same as a drum-tensioning key).

Good-quality drum stool
The Pearl D-50 Throne is a high-end drum stool that offers some comfort and good durability, but it also has a few drawbacks. As a drummer, I found that the seat is a bit too firm for my liking and the padding isn't as thick as it could be. This can make it uncomfortable to sit on for long periods of time, especially for drummers with back or hip problems. Another issue is that the air lift system, while convenient, can be a bit fiddly and may require some adjustment to get it to work properly. This can be frustrating for drummers who need to quickly and easily adjust their seating position during a performance. Additionally, the price of the D-50 is on the higher end, which may make it less accessible for some drummers. It's a good throne, but not the cheapest option. However, i would say it is built to last, with a heavy-duty steel construction that can withstand the rigors of regular use. The seat is also made of a durable vinyl material that is easy to clean and maintain. Overall, the Pearl D-50 Throne is a good-quality drum stool that offers comfort and durability. I think the firm seat and tricky air lift system are worth considering before making a purchase, and the price may also be a deterrent for some people, but it's definitely a worthwhile investment for drummers or those who play frequently.

VERY sturdy, seat maybe a tad too hard?
This drum stool is fantastic quality, extremely sturdy, locks into place very well, and a free drum key and a bag for it which was a nice touch. Only criticism is it is slighty too hard at the moment, but I'm hoping it might soften over time. Other than that, great height control and solid as a rock.

Rock solid and comfortable
Unlike some of the cheaper drum thrones out there, the cushion on this one doesn't collapse completely when sat on. The seat itself is very sturdy with no free play in any of the joints. Once you've set it at your required height, just tighten up the bolts and that's it. I'd highly recommend spending the extra and getting one of these and don't go for a cheaper option (like I did originally) and then regret it!

Very well made
This is a very well made, sturdy and professional bit of kit. I'm a keyboard player and I've set it up so the seat swivels as I turn, but its proper use is to lock the seat into place. The only criticism I have is that you really do need to use the locking mechanism to make sure the stool doesn't gradually fall when you sit on it, and you need to use the drum key to do that, the wing nut isn't enough on its own, but that's hardly a problem.

It's Another Kinda Throne
They may call these stools 'Thrones' but they're not that grand or comfortable. Having said that, it's not why you need or buy one. This is my first and only drum stool, so it's not possible for me to compare. I'm just a casual home drummer, so don't even get to bang around for hours on end at a gig. I guess the stool would be the last thing you'd be thinking about if you did. I was amazed at the range and prices for these 'Thrones', it would be interesting to try a really high end stool and compare. Some are like mini armchairs. For me, it is a reasonable price, pretty sturdy for my use and about as comfortable as a small round stool is likely to be.

Very, very hard.
This is a good, well-made and sturdy seat. There is no rocking or wobble in the seat itself and the braced legs hold everything steady. But, the seat is really hard. It is only one tiny step above being as hard as a piece of wood. After 30 mins you have to take a comfort break so if you do longer stints, invest in something with more padding.

Prodotto TOP
