Great clamp meter support versatile, the display is sort clear

Does the job
I bought this primarily for current measurements which it does fine. Not sure about the accuracy as I've nothing to compare it with but seems OK so far. For the price it's good value compared to more expensive clamp meters and the slide back mechanism make it easy to get onto difficult to access cables.

Unsuitable for reading low current.
I purchased this to read parasitic drain on a car battery, the meter didn’t register any current at all. Later reverted back to my 10 year old meter and it was easily able to measure the 20ma drain. No use for reading low current.

Won't read small amperage draw on AC
Useless for measuring running amps on small AC motors -It just doesn't measure a motor thats drawing circa 0.6 amps even though it states AC current Resolution: 400 A / 0.1 A Accuracy: ±(2 % of mv + 5 Digit AC. I now have to use a more capable amp-meter that was much cheaper to buy. Very disappointing waste of money

As Service Engineer I use this for testing appliances You can hang it up witch is good !

Not what I would expect from a £200 meter
My main problem with this unit is that the clamp meter does not zero. The screen reads 0.2A. I contacted Testo and the response I received was that they knew of the issue but as this was 'within tolerance' it was ok! That's not helpful when you are measuring small central heating pumps. I'm not impressed with the meter or Testo's response. I would expect more from a £200 meter. I should have gone with fluke.

Exatamente o que precisava e mais uma vez os equipamentos Testo são muito bons, fácil leitura e acesso com as pinças para leitura de consumo, cabos muito flexível. Por isso a minha avaliação é 5* e recomendo.

il est top, un peu grand je trouve. il aurait 5 étoiles si il avait la pochette de rangement. Franchement à ce prix Testo un petit effort !!! Et si il faisait la température il aurait même 6 étoiles ^^.
