Ever Ready Leather Camera Case Compatible with Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 VI, DSC-RX100 V, DSC-RX100 IV, DSC-RX100 III

I bought this case for my Sony DSCRX100M5.It's well made and fits the camera perfectly. Some reviewers of theRX100 state they have difficulty holding the camera safely.This case has gone a long way to eliminate this.I use the strap supplied with the camera, place the thumb of my left hand in the indent at the bottom of the case and my first two fingers I place either side of the lense.It seemed natural to me and works.This case is not designed to protect the camera from dust or rain but then compact cameras are not designed to be used in dust or rain.What this case does do and does it well is protect it from knocks etc.But the biggest benifits of this case for me is it makes handling the camera so much better in every way and unlike so many cases does not double the camera size and being made of leather it slips in your pocket quite easily.

The item arrived promptly. The quality is top notch and I am quite satisfied. The only drawback is that it has a tight fit around the lens and it tightens when you put it on. So I will need to find a way to either grind it a bit or make it more soft so it doesn't scratch on the outside diameter of the lens. Overall dimensions are good apart from the lens socket diameter.

This is an amazing case!! I am always getting compliments on it. It looks so retro and cool. For the money its really great value. The leather has lasted well, a few minor scuffs, but it all adds to the look. It protects the camera nicely, does not feel bulky, and is easy to use (clip in and out quickly enough). Would highly recommend. I like the brown colour for a neutral look

Looks really cool, not really leather though. Does just about fit, but definitely not made for the camera. Snapped it closed and admired it. Snapped it open and the snapper pulled out of the case. Can’t use it so cannot really endorse it.

Looks really good and does protect camera. On the other hand have to unclip completely from base part that screws to base of camera each time use camera, since it does not simply hang below due to stiffness of leather. Also have to use edge of nail each time screw base part to camera, since uses flat screw head in to tripod mount hole. Especially inconvenient when need to change battery of camera !

A quality leather product that fits like a glove. Easy to fit and remove, and the lens protection is removed by undoing two press studs so that the body of the camera is protected whilst hanging round your neck. It can also be mounted on a tripod without removing the case. It is not a bulky item but it will protect the camera from everything except water! Don't hesitate to buy one it will last forever. A truly 5* product.

It is a good protective case which fits ok, hopefully will soften a bit in time as it is difficult to keep the lens cover attached when shooting

The case looks amazing. the quality is superb. But it was too small in size to fit my camera.

This case for the Sony RX100 II fits the camera perfectly and provides all the protection one could want from a glove type case. The top half is completely removable if desired (held on by two sturdy snaps), or it can be left on while taking photos without a problem (I personally remove it while actively taking shots) though it might slow you down a bit keeping it out of the way of the lens as it swings freely. Also, taking the top half off when not transporting contributes to the overall handling and diminutive appearance of this wonderful little camera. If you're familiar with the old leather camera cases from earlier decades, especially the 40's and 50's, this will certainly seem reminiscent. The overall design and implementation of features is very well executed and should satisfy just about anyone interested in protecting their valuable camera with a retro style case that will add a touch of sophistication to their Sony RX100 II. It has elicited several positive comments from those who have seen it attached to my camera. This case will not fit over the optional grip (from Sony and other third party vendors) that can be attached to the RX100 II, but I've found that once this case is placed on the camera it provides a very positive grip that allows for secure one-hand operation. One note regarding materials used however. The case is described as "Dark Brown Leather Camera Case." The case is not true leather but a synthetic material which, in my view, is virtually indistinguishable from the real thing and may actually prove more durable in the long run. I would enthusiastically recommend this case both for its stylish appearance and excellent protective value.

La calidad es muy buena, bueno terminando, la textura es casi como si fuera piel, ajusta bien, el único inconveniente que tapa el NFC y no se puede conectar con toque de celular, pero en general el producto es perfecto, recomiendo al 100.

Un an déjà ! Il a participé à la prise de 2 000 photos, et il est comme au premier jour. La matière est belle, on dirait du cuir, et elle n'émet aucune odeur de plastique, comme ça arrive trop souvent. Les deux boutons-pressions sont aussi efficaces qu'au premier jour. C'est bien coupé, bien doublé, bien cousu. Pas fragile et efficace. La courroie, textile aux extrémités, tient parfaitement bien. J'ai ajouté une poignée vissante sous l'écrou du sac : la tenue et la protection de l'appareil sont assurés lors de la prise de vue en voyage ou sortie. L'écran n'est pas gêné pour basculer. Un accessoire peu coûteux, déjà bien amorti.

My old Sony case had a plastic coating that pealed of in many places and looked very sad. This leather case will age well, I think.
