SPICE MISSILE (3 STAGES)

Really well made, ideal for one or two person back packing or camping on a motorcycle where space is limited. I managed to get a good size teaspoon full into each compartment, so not a large amount but if you have limited space then certainly nice to have.

It's not going to suit gram counters who'd likely ignore such and extra, but I like the fact you can screw together as many or as few layers as you want. It may be you just want salt & pepper, or add some other spices to suit your trip, or even just a picnic with the family. Good quality and stays fast with no leaks. It also has a variety of tops for shaking fine or coarse contents.

Same design but bigger please! Barely enough spice for a single meal, let alone a family one, let alone a week’s camping.

One of the best gadgets\gizmos\accessories I have. Small but perfect for the weekend camp and hike expeditions. I currently have salt, black pepper, rosemary, basil, cinnamon and paprika in mine. I may get a second one for the hotter spices!

I got the Spice Missile, which is the smaller of the two products. It's three small "jars" that screw together. Within each jar are two compartments, with a non-removable divider between them. Each jar has a plastic cover with holes on half of it, so that you can sprinkle spice from one side of the container at a time. What I liked: * You can make it bigger or smaller. You can carry six spices by keeping all three jars together, but I only need to bring four spices, so I removed one jar to make it take up less space. If you just needed salt and pepper, you'd only have to carry one jar, a little over 1"x1" on a side. * It seems pretty sturdy, though I have not yet run over it with a tractor. What I didn't like: * Though I appreciate the small size, this is maybe a little TOO small. Each compartment in the jar only contains enough spice for one or two applications. No way this would suffice for a multi-day trip with multiple people. I should have bought the larger Spice Rocket. Oh well, this is my own fault, not the product's. * I've yet to find a spice jar that has the right size holes for coarse ground pepper, and this is no exception. The largest set of holes is still too small, and the lid has to be removed. * Putting spice into the compartments can be tricky, because they're too small for my funnel. Even a 1/4 tsp measuring spoon is too big. You sort of have to cover the other compartment with one finger, and tip the spice into the compartment you're trying to fill, then clean up the mess you make.

L'oggetto è arrivato con un po' di ritardo nella spedizione, ma tutto sommato fa il suo dovere, è comodo e pratico e davvero piccolo. Il problema principale è che il "tappo" grigio posto all'estremità superiore, è arrivato rotto. Piu che "rotto" è probabile che qualcuno lo abbia "avvitato" troppo causandone la rottura parziale delle guide per l'avvitamento. L'ho riparato con della colla per materiali plastici...ma sarei stato più contento se fosse partito sano e non già rotto. Non essendo riconducibile ad un danno dovuto alla spedizione, credo proprio che l'oggetto fosse già danneggiato alla partenza. 2 Stelle solo perchè è arrivato rotto (e io devo recensire ciò che mi è arrivato) altrimenti l'oggetto in se per se è da 4/5, ottimo prodotto.
