Timeless music by the one and only ABBA. If you are a younger person and only just discovered their music then this would be an excellent album if you wish to collect their music.

Basically there wasn't enough room on 'Gold-Greatest hits' for all ABBA's singles. So this is the package of lesser known singles. No, there not the stellar classics but what there is on this album are some real hidden gems. ABBA said they recorded every track as though it were a possible single meaning they worked as hard as they could on each track. This is why on this album that includes several B sides to their top singles there are tracks in my view deserved a better fate than to be just a B side. ''Cassandra', 'Lovelight', 'The Visitors' and 'Our Last Summer' are all ABBA at their very best but the songs weren't given a chance to shine as they should have done in there time. 'When All Is Said And Done' a single in some countries also deserved much more exposure as it is in my books on a par with 'The Winner Takes It All'. The album closes with 'The Way Old Friends Do', a kind of song that could be sung before a song like 'Auld Lang Syne' as it has the same uniting pull of that song. Many songs from this album have found fame in the 'Mamma Mia' films though the singing in those films will never match that of the ABBA ladies. Simply it's the essential addition to 'Gold-Greatest Hits'.

The second collection of ABBA’s greatest hits. Less than a year since the first album and what better way to capitalize on the success of ABBA Gold then to bring out another edition. It contains a number of other singles some of which were never included on ABBA’s regular albums as well as some album tracks The quality is still high and shows that ABBA can write and deliver a great pop tune. There are a couple on the album that in my opinion don’t live up to this standard but then again it is a big ask to replicate the first Gold installment. It's just great, great, great.

We already have ABBA GOLD so it was an easy choice for us to get MORE ABBA GOLD, so no duplicate tracks. Perhaps they will issue EVEN MORE ABBA GOLD, as their popularity is very long lived, longer than the first period, ie. after Waterloo. This time it has been since about 1991 and continues to this day. I can remember at Uni being the only man who would dance to ABBA, Wonderful and highly recommended.

Bought this CD advertised as in good condition.well in my opinion it is a lot better than good.It is like brand new for a fraction of the price and when it comes it has a little personal note which shows the seller cares.You won't be disappointed with the goods so have a little think about saving yourself some money.Will use this site all the time now for my music .

What can I say, it is ABBA, a fantastic band, I enjoy their music. If your a fan of ABBA and don't have this cd in your collection, I recommend you give it try.
