Reliable
Fits my M&P Shield M2.0 Metal Carry Comp with a plate. Had to get taller iron sights to cowitness. Had it for some years now. I would trust it with my life. Holds zero, nice and bright and battery last a long time. Still change it out every 6 months. Love that the battery compartment is not under the optic so easy to change and don't have to re-zero.

SOLID Laser / Light - easy to use.
Had it mounting on my Glock 17 that was not MOS. It sighted in easly and 17 rounds at 7 yards in 2.5 inch group. Thus the entire target center is gone. Now placed on my Glock 47 MOS with same results. Also have it mounted on my Glock 43X and yes same results! I love this Red Dot would never buy anything else. For as long as the battery last replacing it isn't the fastest but i don't have to rezero it!! Shake awake is great and adjustable dot intensity is wonderful. Did i mention the life time warranty!

Feature packed mini red dot for 1.6" optics cuts
Bought this to replace another mfr red dot that did not work right out of the box and was way too small for me. Put this on a S&W Shield Plus. The S&W M&P 2.0 screws that come with worked fine. This dot comes installed with a picatinny claw type adapter. Why I have no idea. Take it off by removing screws thru top of dot. You will need a T10 torx or use the church key that comes with. Vortex provides several screw packs for different thread patterns and depths for different guns. They also provide a shim plate for zeroing at less than 15yds. Sight has up down arrows on opposite sides glass housing for adjusting intensity. You can lock the intensity by holding a certain button for a certain amt of secs. All programming is done this way. Has shake awake feature, 14 hrs till auto shut down or you can shut down manually but then you have to turn on manually. Stated 9500 hrs burn time. Front face of sight has diamond tread pattern for racking slide. Windage and elevation adjustment screws have a half moon type slot that you need to use the include church key to adjust. Dont like that because the using the church key in this fashion is awkward and will be the first thing you lose. I think the dot has 10 brightness levels. Drawing and finding the dot will take some practice. If you have astigmatism which I do, you could see a halo or cluster of dots when looking at the red dot. Indoors at least thus far I have not had that problem. This can be true for any red dot and astigmatism. There is a QR code on the inside of the box that will take you to a video tutorial on installing the sight. There is a paper operations and owner manual included. Some other dot mfrs do not include a paper O&M manual. I like everything about this sight other than the windage and elevation screws with half moon slots.

Works great on my Glock 43X MOS.
I bought this for my G43X MOS and it was super easy to install and love the small footprint. I can also cowitness with my ameriglo night sights. Haven't been out to the range with it yet,but did use a laser boresighter to align the red dot. I'll update this if there are any issues, but I doubt there will be any issues.

Direct mount red dot no floor plate needed
I put this on a Glock 43X and fit directly without a mounting plate. The buttons are large to be able to manipulate with gloves on and the green dot is easier to see. Like with all red dots, max setting does give it the halo effect. I other high end red dots that do this too, so I wasn’t surprised when it did on max setting. Hangs off the slide a little but not a deal breaker. Had to turn up the brightness setting when shooting at the range and was sighted in after 3 volleys. It held zero after several drills. Approximately 200 rounds. I’ll update further after more trips to the range. Would recommend for the price and direct mounting feature. I can still use irons sights with this red dot and prefer this red dot over my 407k.

Gold standard for budget MRDS
I have four of these things and will probably end up with more. They’re well-made, hold zero, don’t have too much tint or distortion, and last long enough that a yearly battery change is all that’s needed. The brightness buttons have a nice clicky feel to them, as well. My only complaint is that the adjustments aren’t as tactile when zeroing; it can be very hard to hear or feel them, especially if you’re in a busy range. Other than that, it’s a fantastic dot for the money.
