Excellent device allows me to scan many vehicles if not all major manufacturers/ford/honda/toyota/nissan/chevy/kia the list goes on. Its Simple to use all instructions are in the package I downloaded an app that works in pair with the device I activated the device within the app and then the app downloaded the necessary software, after that I was ready to use it It has nice features that makes it easy to use like the decode vin; it will decode your car's vin number and read all the info like model year engine size and more!. Pros : *its mobile I can carry it on my pocket *It has all maintenance and main reset functions Like oil light reset or brakes maintenance mode *Its oem level I can see and read all modules in my cars not only pcm *It works on Android and iphone *It has bi directional functions I can active amd deactivate components to ensure functionality without having to guess or remove components! *It has data graphics I can see data live as I test drive vehicles. Cons: *It has a subscription to get updates You get a year free, after that you probably wont need to update often unless you work with brand new cars every year then I guess you might need the new features. *Personal con it doesn't have a place to put a landyard so I wont loose it in a car. Overall great product for a fraction of a price I have a All in one scanner 👍🏻

Easy to use. Out of the box you download the ediag app and register. Download as many manufacturers as you need and pair Bluetooth. The whole process took 3 minutes total. After that you gain access to a bunch of special functions like brake bleed. Parking brake reset ,throttle reset, sunroof. Note my pictures were from before I downloaded the software. Also I found that you are not locked to just one vehicle. It scanned the vin code quickly and accurately on every vehicle I've tried. I was surprised by the graphing on live data. For the price this is a amazing tool that I will be using daily at work and on side work. Compact and portable so I do not need to carry around my full size scan tool. I found the iOS and android app both worked flawlessly. After a vehicle scan or health report you can still go back and retrieve the data in reports. Overall I am extremely pleased with kingbolen ediag and would recommend it to anyone who is in the market for a scan tool for diy or a shop to use with their phone or tablet.

I bought this over a year ago and it helped me with solving some issues with my sister's car, reprogrammed some tpms sensors, and diagnosed several vehicles with it. It won't pull the vin automatically on about a quarter of the vehicles I worked on and I had to enter that manually. This is where the tool was successful. When I purchased it, the listing didn't clearly state anywhere I can recall or find that you only get one year of service then they hike the price to renew each year to $130. This is a joke. I can buy a new one of these for $80 with an additional 5% discount right now on Amazon. The tool let me down on one vehicle and bricked the computer, I had to have a friend at the dealership reflash the computer to make the car work again. Long story short, the tool generally was good but ridiculous to hit me with steep renewal costs and this bait and switch feeling is why I give it 1* instead of 4* the tool and software would otherwise command.

This works great to provide information that most very expensive two way diagnostic tools provide. I have a 2008, F150, 5.4 and this works out really well to do power balance, relative compression, and other typical diagnostic tools. One thing I would like to see is a relative fuel injector test. Ford PCM offers this test, but it is not programmed into this tester. Also, occasionally it does not connect but it does on the second attempt. A very good diagnostic tool for the $$.

Performs a quick scan allowing you to pinpoint your issues quickly. Connectivity: Pairs very quickly and effortlessly with your phone. Works well: Extremely pleased with how it performs. Highly recommend this to others. This scanner allows you to know what’s going on with your car. Very easy to use and you don’t have to be a mechanic to utilize it. Educated you on what your issues are before going to a garage for repairs.

So i tested this for about a month in the shop and let me tell you this is a great device. Its very quick to start up and get ready. The software is fairly user friendly and has alot of features that for the price make it very useful for shop or even DIY people. Not only can you check and clear codes you can also check network functionality and do module tests, freeze frame data and it also has the option if you dont know about a particular thing it will help you figure it out. I highly recommend this for anyone that needs a scan tool thats quick reliable and affordable.

We get customers come to our garage that always say “I’ve used my scan tool and it shows no codes” it’s simply not the case with a bit more of a capable diagnostic machine. They usually show me the typical elm327 or cheap scanners that only do engine codes. Now I have a unit I can recommend to customers. Save yourself the charge for a garage to do the scan and get one of these. If you’re generous enough tell your friends you wouldn’t mind using it to diagnose a fault on their car! Can recommend this to any DIY person.. even a small garage would benefit from this. Pair it with a cheap tablet and you have a more than capable diagnostic machine at your disposal which is light and portable Will be recommending this to customers that need a scan tool for their own. It’s inexpensive and well worth the money, bloody recommend it. User interface is easy to navigate as well as the unit having plenty of features for little money. My personal rig for this device is: Samsung Galaxy tab active 2 I’ve velcro the scanner to the back of the tablet so I can quickly grab it and plug it into a car. Also Bluetooth makes this amazing. No longer tethered to the car. You can move around! Please please give it a try. They’re an excellent company. My garage love the tool.

L ho utilizzato per la mia FIAT Freemont AWD diesel. Innanzitutto, effettuare la diagnostica è estremamente facile ed intuitivo, ma soprattutto la possibilità di capire la causa del codice errore permette di valutare l entità del guasto. Nel mio caso l errore riportato dalla avaria motore riguardava la tensione della batteria che era risultata bassa all' avviamento del veicolo; ( infatti non utilizzavo l auto da qualche giorno). Ho resettato l errore ed ho percorso 30 minuti di autostrada per ricaricare la batteria, l errore non è più comparso. Questo mi ha permesso di evitare la richiesta di assistenza da parte dell officina e quindi sicuro un buon risparmio. Ma anche nel caso in cui io guasto non si può risolvere e si necessita del supporto del meccanico, sapere già quale sia la tipologia di guasto è molto, ma molto utile! In definitiva, un ottimo prodotto e sono contento dell' acquisto
