Q: How many days does this take to have an effect?

It took effect for me the day I put it on. I was not certain that it would so I also took my normal dose by mouth.. That was a mistake, because my stomach hurt afterwards. Currently our use the patch a few days a week and take by mouth the other days.

I bought that product for my elderly relative and do not have a personal experience. It is likely that you may apply it on both arms.
