Death Note, Volume 7

Although the story does go downhill a bit from here, it loses its death note feel it is still a very good, interesting read. The authors have kept the storyline going and really added as much detail as possible. The artwork is as usual incredible, this would be the last book before it starts to fall in my opinion but definitely one for the collection guys!

Book came in great condition, the plot was great as usual, but ***SPOILER*** Im just upset L died .

It was great that Light finally got back his memories and the notebook, and all his past plotting and planning was fully revealed. He was more intelligent and cunning than I originally thought. He managed to play the long game and engineer things so he could come out on top. It was impressive how he predicted everything L would do, his plan worked perfectly. Although, it was pretty obvious that he only just managed to beat L, he'll have to be on top of his game all the time to carry on getting away with his crimes.

This was an excellent book, with a shocking twist but one I guess necessary for the continuation of the series. The characters of L and Light and the mind games between them make for some of the most gripping and interesting dialogue I've read in literature.
