Awesome protrek
Excellent watch from casio oner my favourites for daily beater use in my collection, reliability functionality wrist presence its a proper outdoor man watch would highly recommend ,it was launched in 2013 and I prefer the slightly older protrek and g shock models they have more of a rugged retro appearance imo :)

Loads of functions plus neat and tidy
Excellent watch, very neat and tidy not too big on your wrist like other watches of this type. All the features I want. Very happy with my new watch.

Nearly perfect - recommended.
I have this watch since beginning of the 2015 and I love it. It's light, durable, it performs really well, its face (unlike the negative ones - people beware, Casio's negative faces look cute on pictures but are AWFUL, I have returned two watches because their product "photos" lie) is very clear, big in places where it should be big, small where it should be small, etc. Well... It's almost perfect. ALMOST. As dozens of people already stated its strenghts, I will list the downsides: - timer resolution: although you can set it up to 24 but with 1 minute resolution (!) - no perfect soft boiled eggs, then :( - I would love to have two separate timers (because why not?) - world time: I would, literally, LOVE to see world time on the main screen instead of seconds - why you can switch between MMDD/M.DD/BARO on top display but can't switch between seconds and world time in this small bottom display? - strap: pulling hairs a bit. And surprisingly short (fortunately I have rather slim wrist), but has awesome lock at the end (no more straps slipping like in GA-100 - that was funnily retarded solution) - alarms: I love the fact I have one with snooze BUT, why the heck can't we set the pattern like in G7700, for example? See: "Alarm repeat patterns: daily, once, weekend, weekday" -- I simply can't understand that. What's so wrong with Casio? You can't have perfect watch because they tend to split best bits of their engineering across the whole range. Because. I am, honestly, pretty happy with this particular model, I just thinks Casio is fragmenting the offer for no reason. - I miss the ability to *hide* menu entries - I am using sunrise/sunset features like... several times in year (approx, obviously), same for records/trek logs - I would be happy if I could switch it on exactly as I can do for MUTE feature. Bottom line: this is pretty good watch.
