These are the best short leashes out there. They aren't too long where the dog can sit and chew it or hang in the dogs way while out on walk "off leash". Good for trainers to be able to apply leash pressure without a full leash in the way too. Jim makes great products that last. Smooth biothane coating is easy to clean and tough. Brass hardware is quality and not like the other cheap short leashes on here. Simple packaging is less trash and waste. I use and recommend Jim Hodges brand everytime to anyone who ask and give this to my clients as part of their take home package.

I use this all the time for offleash corrections on the prong collar in the house with my puppy to correct jumping, biting, etc. Not a full sized handle, hence the pull tab name. I love that it's biothane too

Disappointed it didn’t last very long as it was too long and my dog could reach it and chewed it up. After one chewing bout it was basically toast. I like other products from them but this one just isn‘t that resilient.

This loop is an excellent tool to use when training your dog or you have a puppy. We use it frequently. It’s a great way to gain control over the dog without having a full leash. The materials agree that the dog can chew on it, and it doesn’t seem to affect it. Overall, it’s a gray item.
