I would recommend it.
Lovely fragrance, lasts for many hours, light but nourishing body cream. I would recommend it, although it’s a bit pricey.

Rose Bliss in a Bottle by Roger&Gallet!
Roger&Gallet's Rose Body Lotion is a refreshing indulgence for the senses. With a reputation for exceptional fragrances, Roger & Gallet did not disappoint with this one. The rose scent is divine, lingering on the skin for hours, offering a subtle reminder of luxury throughout the day. Enriched with Shea Butter and Olive Oil, the lotion nourishes, leaving the skin feeling smooth and revitalized. Particularly for someone with sensitive skin like mine, it was a pleasant surprise to find that it didn't cause any reactions or greasiness, a testament to its claim of being suitable for normal skin types. However, while the product itself feels luxurious, the choice of packaging leaves something to be desired. The pump dispenser, while giving a premium appearance, doesn't provide the best user experience, especially towards the end. The struggle to get the last drops out, coupled with the environmental concerns around its recyclability, detract from the overall appeal. Additionally, the texture of the lotion was a tad too runny for my preference; a slightly richer consistency would have elevated the experience further. In conclusion, Roger&Gallet's Rose Body Lotion is almost a home run. Its enchanting scent and skin-softening properties are undeniably captivating, but there are certain aspects, mainly the dispenser, that could use improvement. Given the brand's emphasis on quality, I hope future iterations consider more user-friendly and sustainable packaging. Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

Roger & Gallet Body Lotion – Luxury, Highly Scented Body Lotion Which Absorbs Well
The 250ml bottle of body lotion arrived in nicely designed, plastic dispensing bottle. The Rose body lotion has a formula which contains 96% of its ingredients from natural origin extracts including passionflower seeds, olive, apricot kernel, bran, corn and rose. The formula is free from sulphates and parabens and is also suitable for sensitive skin as it has been dermatological tested. I am mainly using this for my hands and the formula is very lightweight and is thin in its consistency so absorbs very quickly without leaving a sticky or greasy residue. It leaves your skin moisturised and soft due to the inclusion of the shea butter and the body lotion is very fragrant (without being overpowering) due to the inclusion of parfum which does fragrance your skin for a good amount of time afterwards. I found that I didn’t need a lot either so should last a good amount of time. The Rose fragrance is a lovely scent and is quite a complex without smelling artificial. I would say that it does definitely does have the delicate smell of roses in combination with other floral notes. Although the body lotion has a lot of plant-based ingredients, I am unsure whether this makes it vegan as there is no mention of cruelty free from the brand. The body lotion is made in France and is currently priced at £16.50 at the time of reviewing, so this is definitely on the higher price range of body lotions without additional skincare orientated ingredients. However, I would still regard the body lotion as a luxury product which absolute pleasure to use with a fantastic scent which didn’t cause any adverse reaction to my skin, leaving it feeling moisturised and very fragrant – I would definitely recommend both for yourself or as a gift.

Smells amazing / Strong
It is a luxurious, lightweight body lotion that contains natural ingredients and has a pleasant rose scent. I love the feel of the lotion on my skin; it is non-greasy and absorbs quickly. The lotion is also very moisturizing. It keeps my skin hydrated and nourished all day long. I especially love how it makes my skin look firmer and smoother. It also helps to reduce any dryness or flakiness. The scent of the body lotion is absolutely divine. It’s a strong, refreshing rose scent that lasts long. I find it to be very calming and calming. It’s also long-lasting, which is great as I don’t have to keep reapplying it throughout the day.

Total luxury
This Roger & Gallet rose body lotion is truly a premium beauty product. I have used many rose hand and body lotions over the years, but this surpasses them all in terms of quality. The lotion is light and swiftly absorbed, leaving the skin feeling gently moisturised and nourished. A little goes a long way. No sticky residue is left on the skin, but the scent nevertheless lasts for a very long time. The rose fragrance is nothing short of divine. It is not at all old-fashioned, but is deeply feminine and attractive. As such, the product really enhances your mood - and hence gives you more confidence and a spring in your step. I would not hesitate to recommend it, either as a personal pick-me-up or as a thoughtful gift for someone special. If I was bought this as a gift, I would be absolutely over the moon.

With shea butter - this gives 24 hour hydration...
Light textured and with a rose fragrance that smells lovely and is suitable for sensitive skin, this Wellbeing Body Lotion from Roger et Gallet absorbs easily without leaving any residue. Containing shea butter, it's ultra hydrating - and keeps on moisturising for 24 hours after use. Roger et Gallet is a French company founded back in 1862. This 250ml body lotion is a premium product from a brand familiar to anyone with an interest in beauty, fragrance and skincare. The modern packaging, with its pump dispenser, makes for ease of use but there are two subtle aspects that hark back to Roger et Gallet's earlier heritage. The top of the pink container is stepped - suggestive of a 'thirties aesthetic - and its base features an indented star shape as might feature on the bottom of a cut crystal glass. For practical purposes, the PET recyclable plastic of the pack is perfect. This may seem a little low key as a gift - but gift this to the right recipient and they'll know how much they're appreciated.

Thin, very mildly scented and forgettable lotion
When I see ‘body lotion’ on other products I expect it to be a richer and creamier experience than this turned out to be. This stuff is really quite thin, somewhere between a lotion and an oil. It squeezes out of the bottle in remarkably small quantities and doesn’t lather all that much. My original plan, to use it a little bit like a shower gel, was quickly disregarded in favour of using it more sparingly, like a hand cream almost, but in situations where I can wash it off shortly afterwards. But despite it being quite a fine oil that seems intended for sparing use- it’s not really very rich. I’m reviewing the rose version here- one of the product photos suggests there are other varieties too, but they’re not currently listed. Rose is sometimes quite a mild fragrance anyway, but here, it ends up being extremely mild- the lotion is bordering on fragrance-free, because the rose scent really is subtle to the point of being barely there. It’s difficult to feel that you’re really indulging in a product if you can barely smell it, and it doesn’t feel like it’s doing very much. So while it’s a posh brand, with moderately posh packaging (but nothing too special), the current asking price of sixteen quid fifty seems very over-the-top considering the body creams and shower gels you can get much cheaper from other popular brands. The lotion doesn’t do nearly enough to justify that price tag, so while it is pleasant enough to use, three stars is all it ends up being worth in my book.
