Installed in a Fractal Pop Air case, it’s exactly what I needed. Good quality all metal device, no exposed circuits. All the ports work perfectly and at high speed. Cable length was fine for my setup as it installs at the bottom close to the ports in the motherboard. Might be a stretch in a big tower case. If I was to find any fault, I’d say it’s not the prettiest device I have seen, it could use a flap or cover for the large CF slot (the one I will never use really), but my case has a magnetic cover for the bays so it’s nice and tidy when not in use anyway.

Does anyone know the purpose of the white LED light on the right side of the blue LED light? The blue light seems to inidcate power on status. The manual/instruction sheet does not say anything about the 2 lights. Thanks in advance.

I looked. I really, really looked for a PC front panel USB hub that would supply a card reader and a USB-C gen 2 port to match the outputs on my motherboard. This was the *only* one that ticked all the boxes. It does work quite well once installed. The card reader will handle any format I throw at it, and it's faster than expected because it uses the USB 3.0 bus, not the USB 2. The orange charge-only port is not something I need, but, well, it's there anyway. One thing that others have noted: this does have *two* USB 2.0 connectors, and that's all that most motherboards give you. Due to all the other front panel and back panel USB connections I have, I had to buy an internal USB 2.0 splitter to support this. With that, I had USB device contention issues to sort out by moving the connectors to various positions on the splitter...but it finally worked. The SATA power connector for the orange charge-only port is especially short; if you are placing this device at the top of a tall tower case, your SATA connection might be a problem. For that matter, none of the USB connectors is especially long, so make sure to gauge whether the lengths will work before finally installing this. Another issue is that my case doesn't supply mounting holes that this could be screwed into. Fortunately, my case is old and supplied a couple of slide-rails I was able to mount to the device to allow it to slide into place in the front-panel bay. It seems to be solidly built; it's entirely enclosed and doesn't expose all its electronics the way a lot of cheaper such hubs do. If it weren't for the installation difficulties, this would be a five-star product.

Good mix of useful external ports. PC can now control wireless devices like audio, mouse/keyboard, security etc. Have not tested camera data cards yet, or speed of USB C. Helpful to have option of non-data charging port as well.
