I wanted to add a thermal fan to my open place fireplace but they only work if you set them on something hot (wood stove). After scouring the Internet for something that I could put in my fireplace that would get hot and was stable for a thermal fan I found this! It worked perfectly! I placed it over the fire turned the fire on it heated the griddle up and then placed the fan on it and started blowing. This will also come in handy for an emergency as I can now cook in my fireplace if the electricity ever goes out. (There is a fully functioning cheminy on this fireplace) This will also be a great product for over a camp fire or fire pit as it's marketed. I was a little Leary of how the screws would go in as adding thread on cast iron doesn't always turn out great but the screws go in just fine and secure. This product was made correctly only down fall I see it should be designed to flip the griddle over without have to take the legs off I can see someone losing a screw by doing this while camping.

I bought a 200,000 BTU burner and this baby really makes excellent grill lines. Get is hot and toss on the steak and you have a winner. Low heat for chicken with 4 min on a side and done. Awesome burger grill/griddle. Flipping it over and burning off the grease is easy clean up. Would buy again and highly recommend it.

This was exactly like I had hoped. I use it in my outdoor fireplace. I’ve made pizzas, burgers, hotdogs and am always looking for what I can cook on it next. It’s just a fun way to make food on those chilly college football Saturdays. Everyone at the tailgate thinks it’s fun to cook on it. It is sturdy and has 2 heights It’s easy to clean. It’s a little heavy but I’m 61 and I can lift and move it without any problems. I oil it just like I do my cast iron skillets so I don’t have problems with food sticking. I would recommend this product.

You can put 3 stainless steel mounting straps ( $7 on amazon 4 pk) and Tripod chain set up instead of legs and still 100% fully reversible! Of all the ones i found this us the ONLY one with the leg mounts on the outside making this one FANTASTIC CAMP Grill Tri-Pod OR free standing grill

Legs are ridiculously flimsy and the screws are lightweight metal I didn't feel like they should get that hot, I was afraid they would shoot out and hit somebody. We didn't feel safe using it camping. It was wobbling all over the place with only a small amount of food on it. It wasn't worth the risk. Waste of money and energy to bring it camping.

Really glad I bought this before a couple of recent overland trips as we used it for most of our meals. Works great coupled with a small propane, fire pit and we cooked on both sides. Gets a little dirty, so take a trash bag or something to keep it in after it cools off and then just pressure wash it when you get home.

Awesome griddle. Wish the sides were a bit higher. Cooks well.

The finish on this cast iron griddle is excellent. That was my first positive impressionThere is no doubt that this is a substantial piece of high quality cookware. Easy assembly for robust suppport legs.

Love this. I have used it lots while camping. Easy to clean. Quality is great.

Nice heavy good quality product, I like the fact that you can set it up 2 ways depending how low or high you want it

Cooks amazing on a fire. First time I moved it from the fire the leg bent where it connects with a bolt. Legs connection needs to be strengthened. Tough engineering solution for them when dealing with heat. I bent it back and continue to use because it’s so amazing how well it cooks and how much I enjoy cooking with fire in the summer.
