Sena 10S Helmet Clamp Kit

I have a SENA 10s and two helmets, so with this kit I can now use the intercom on both helmets as I choose

Ease of use and set up

This is the 3rd chance I've given to the Sena brand to convince me that for the price they charge for their units, they are worth every penny. They just aren't! I've brought 2x Sena 10S unit in the past 2 years with the hope the quality would be better than the last. This 3rd item was a secondary install on another helmet meaning i can just move the unit itself from one lid to another. The units themselves you need a degree in order to get them to work....press this button for 10 secs and rotate the dial anti clockways to get this function, or press 1 button twice and the center dial button 4 times to get radio then use the jog wheel to search for a local FM station (range of the FM by the way is shocking)......these units have plenty of operations, non of which you can access whilst riding as more often than not you need 2 hands to operate! Then there is the speaker quality.... if you just want to chat to someone with a paired device then they are just about acceptable. Want to listen to music or radio?? My S20 phone has far far superior sounds that emit from within! you really are better off just having wind noise whilst riding! And then there is the speaker padding and 3m sticky tabs......they wont stick hair to them, let alone a pretty heavy speaker. And the top foam pads that you have to stretch to fit over the speakers quite literally fall apart out of the box. For the money, these are most defiantly not worth the money, and don't take my word for it. A quick search online will find you an abundance of poor reviews. All of which I personally have ignored twice in the hope 'you can't please everyone'. This was the 3rd and final try, and needless to say it fell short of being crap. Now i've sold my 2x 10S units and this added clamp kit to some other poor sod who even after putting in the description the same as I've done on here, still went ahead and brought from me. Can't please them all eh? Sena needs to very much up their game because for the price of their products, they really are a huge let down.

I had the 10s on another helmet. Got a new one and wanted just the mounting hardware for the new helmet. Installed pretty easily, had to watch a Sena YouTube video for best mounting procedure for my modular helmet but had plenty of parts and adjustments for the speakers. Would buy again if i needed to. Had to put one star for battery life since this kit doesn’t contain any battery parts.
