Simply put, it makes using clingfilm about 500% easier. It saves time, is efficient, and keeps the clingfilm clean when not in use. It has an easy locking mechanism to keep it shut when not in use, rubber feet to keep it in place, and it is compact, saving space where you may have had an open, half-cardboard clingfilm box laying around previously. I could not recommend this product enough. The ONLY drawback is that it requires Wrapmaster Clingfilm rolls, as they have the compatible plastic clips on the end, but the refills aren't too expensive, and you could probably take the plastic ends off the branded rolls and wedge them into a similar-sized non-branded roll with a bit of fiddling. If you're even thinking about needing this product, BUY IT!

Value for money

I absolutely hated cutting cling film. A friend of mine had this model, recommended it and I am glad that I bought it. It makes the job so much easier and the unit isn’t overly bulky. The only downside is having to buy a special type of cling film.

Brought this for my sister in law as always having trouble with cardboard container ones. I have had one for several years and are brillant no trying to find end etc. Highly recommended Prices are very competitive.

I’m not quite sure why I’ve not had one of these in my life before! I was so sick of battling with supermarket cardboard holders that just stretch and rip, this is an absolute must! The refills are slightly more expensive than what you’d have to pay at the supermarket, but wow it is so much better. The unit itself is sturdy and great quality. I cannot recommend enough.

I love the product having used one for ten years plus. The only reason I purchased another was the catch broke my original, so was a nuisance when unlocked. I have since resolved this issue by using a velcro strap to close shut. To my disappointment on opening the new one, I had to buy the cling film from the supplier as the new model has a different fixing method inside the roll of film. Needless to say the film was 4 times more expensive than a high street supermarket version. I am hoping once I finish the purchased film, I will be able to remove the fitting and fit it in my Morrisons value 300mm film as previously used. Other than this, it's a wonderful product and worthy of 5 stars.
