Worked great
This worked on my Triton Cara, first time. Had previously tried the White Aieve PRD, but that didn't work.

Easy to install on an old triton.
Lovely, simple little gadget. I had to order this after my new apartments (only been living here a month) shower decided to make a shocking popping noise and spew water from a small hole I'd never noticed in other showers before. Luckily, before I called the landlord, the solution quickly sprung up on google and I ordered the PRD along with a new hose and shower head (nice little treat) to replace the probable old, blocked hose. I installed the PRD myself and it was a very easy process as the shower itself is old and not complicated. It helped that there are plenty of tutorials on YouTube too, I recommended a channel called The Shower Doctor. It just took me a screwdriver to get everything working. But PLEASE don't forget to turn off the shower at the wall AND the mains/fuse box before attempting anything of the sort. The PRD has been installed for over a week now and I'm enjoying the luxury of a 5 minute shower instead of the few weeks I had of nothing but baths which are usually the real luxury. The delivery took an extra day or two than expected and yes, it does feel rather expensive for such a small piece of plastic but it does the job and you get what you pay for.

Does the job
Eight quid seems a lot for what it is, however it's at the cheaper end of the scale

Does exactly what it's meant to do! Easy to install.
Easy to install. Reliable. Value for money. Very importantly...if you do need one...buy another one as a spare now and keep it safe as they do tend to require replacing often when caused by excess water pressure, a link in the hose, old age or something else. Have a spare, save a headache.... literally a five min fit and very handy if you need to fix it before going to work. Not very hand if you haven't got one.

Did it myself! Triton T80 easifit+
Water spewing out of unit where hose attaches but hose tightly on. When all plumbers I contacted said they don't fix electric showers, only install them, I had to pull up my big girl pants and do something i'd never done before. Luckily the Triton website had some good info on what was likely to be wrong, and I bought this wee device from Amazon. It was as easy as turning off the power to the shower at the switch board, removing 3 screws (2 top, 1 bottom) to remove the cover (also involved a simple unclicking the wire from the power button), and replace the part that was right in front of my face. (Another two screws to remove old part/fit new part). Had to reuse the screws already in use as this new part didn't come with any, but that's ok. Replace the cover, turn on the power and voila! New skill badge unlocked.

Saved getting a new shower in 5 minutes
Just fit this into my wife's grandmother's shower after is stopped working. Insurance company said shower was US and she would need a new one. 5 minutes of time and this item and the shower is back working like new. Also changed the shower head in case scale was the reason the PRD popped in the first place. £10 and 5 minutes instead of a new Triton shower for £275.00 plus fitting. Over the moon with the result, even if it's a little expensive for what it is. Completely aghast that the insurance company plumber was basically going to rip off an 85 year old pensioner over this. Thanks to previous reviewers and the internet for making the solution so obviously clear 😀
