Ted 2 (Extended Edition) [DVD] [2015] [2017]

More fun with Ted and Johnny (Mark Wahlberg) that follows interestingly on from the first film: this one has a much more linear plot, and is less funny, perhaps, less a series of set pieces, and a bit more serious in its undertones (but not that much). It still feels pretty anarchic, flagging up racial equality and gay rights as a parallel to Ted's plight to be recognised as a human being and not just 'property', but at the same time having a running gag about black men and also a fairly unflattering portrait of two gay men. Its heart is in the right place, but without being hidebound by political correctness, in other words, it gets an intelligent balance. It is fairly stuffed with big names making cameos, while Wahlberg is as delightful as before, with a touch of the overgrown kid about him, who takes a sideways slice from the Starship Enterprise ... ; Amanda Seyfried plays the love interest with a legal mind, and Ted is brilliantly pitched by the co-writer and director Seth MacFarlane. The first one was just a bit crazier, but this is a very worthy sequel that moves into Galaxy Quest territory before coming back to Earth with some playful bending of the narrative of the first film as it bounces some of the same balls ...

I bought this film on blu ray because I'd already seen the first one and was a fan. It was one of the most hilarious films I've ever seen and it really felt like watching family guy as well in certain parts because it was made by the same person. Anyway this one is even funnier then the first one it litterally had me laughing with tears the whole way through and this time I laughed harder then the first one. It had great acting and tons of great jokes and hilerious scenes and it really feels like a Seth mcfarlin film just like the first one. Such a good buy. If you have seen the first one and enjoyed it or if your just looking for something that's funny to watch then I would strongly recommend this to add to your blu ray collection. Great film 10 outta 10. Brilliant !

I am not a big fan of comedy films, as most fall apart in the third act, but this doesn't. Like the first movie, this is a story of codependent relationship between a man, and his pot smoking best friend, a Teddy bear. As a rule, I never watch British comedy films, and only watch American ones when on TV, and this is where I found Ted 1... Ted was crazy, and Ted 2, is just as silly. Mark Wahlberg is a great actor, who has comedy "funny bones", and seeing for the most part he would have been acting with no real Ted. he never misses a beat. I don't know or care how they did the CGI and special effects, but for me, Ted was real I love this movie, and at one part I nearly wet myself with laughter, so do yourself a favour, and get Ted 1&2, a bong and some beers, and forget the world for a few hours, and laugh your socks off...

This was a recent purchase of mine and I thought this DVD would live up to Ted's first DVD. I have to admit I wish I had saved my money when buying this DVD and rented this from somewhere as I was left quite disappointed. I was under the illusion TED 2 would be told like TED's first DVD however this was not the case. TED 2 was more of a story which involved drugs, a court hearing and a little stupidity. I found it very hard to laugh at the story which unfolded in front of me. I grew board of the film at the start of the DVD and it really failed to entertain me. I have given this DVD 3 stars due to the fact, I may have disliked this DVD because of my sense of humour and others may love the story. This DVD was not for me. Make sure you read the story line and other reviews before purchasing this.

If you liked ted then you'll like ted 2. Not because it's great but because it builds on the story and there are some funny bits. It's worth a watch but will leave you slightly disappointed! Regards the blu Ray. It's a disc in a box and it works so all good on that front!

This is a great film. I very nealy pixxed myself laughing. Please remember, in both films, there are making fun of a particular situation and not you. I would quote a funny bit of the movie, but it is all funny. I have cancer so get on a downer pretty easily. But nearly died there in the bed hypoventilating because of laughter. I just hope if my wife and i come flying of the road, we land our car in a similar place they did. Now we can read the views of the people who did not get it or are just Sooooo stuck up. Dave x

Disappointed as not as much laughter as the first but still watchable. The actors played their parts well but the storyline was a flop, now that is only my opinion but it was not as good as it could have been. I rated this an A grade for some of the ideas. The game is that Ted is still in trouble as usual and Mark is on hand to bail him out. So if nothing better on go for it and see for yourself as it's lacking in entertainment and you lose interest very easy, doesn't hold your grip very often and when it does in short doses, more on the adult side that doesn't take off too well. So gather up the munchies and drinks and have a look see and become a judge for yourself. Enjoy!

Un film incroyable...! Mark whalberg assure trop comme d'hab, mais l'ourson avec la voix de joey starr, énorme !!! Vivement le 3 si possible, ce serait vraiment topissime ! Cela faisait longtemps que j'avais pas ri comme un fou comme ça...! A s'en étouffer ! Un précédant majeur du même genre, "le retour de la panthère rose"... C'était il y a longtemps ! Du pur délire comme on l'aime, le sens du rocambolesque poussé à l'extrême...! L'apparition du grand morgan freeman qui joue les guest de luxe maintenant dans certains films, ajoute au charme de cette suite parfaitement réussie...!! Les deux scènes avec liam neeson au début et encore plus à la fin, sont dantesques !! Et giovanni ribisi toujours aussi fou et possessif dans sa quête d'enlever ted...! Un très grand moment de comédie ! En un seul mot, "jouissif"...!

I love this movie. It’s even better than the first one. Seth MacFarlene is a genius. I love the whole story of Ted trying to fight for his civil rights.

salve il pacco era ben confezionato e grazie ad amazon e prime ordinato per il giorno dell'uscita la mattina in questione era già nelle mie mani. il video e l'audio sono buoni. il dvd presenta la traccia italiana sia nei sottotitoli che nell'audio. la custodia è quella in plastica semplice ma essenziale. il film è molto divertente in stile ted. gli attori sono molto bravi e simpatici fin da subito. la trama sorprende leggermente meno rispetto al precedente capitolo ma chi lo fa. il risultato è una pellicola allegra che mantiene le sue promesse fino alla fine. assolutamente consigliato a chi a già amato ted e vuole tornare nel suo mondo assurdo. quindi...buona visione!!!
