McDavid Knee Brace with Dual Disk Hinges

Very comfortable to wear and provides fantastic knee support and prevention from hyper extension. Expensive, but definitely worth it. Unfortunately will be getting another one for my other knee.

I bought the medium after measuring my knee, its quite tight but I believe that is how its meant to be. Used it to play tennis and it worked well, only problem is trouble getting it off again as it was sweaty after an hour and had to wait an hour to remove it.

Not quite as robust as my previous knee brace from another manufacturer but it was £40/60 cheaper and has done the job I need during my two weeks skiing I returned from recently. This brace has only two adjustment straps compared with four on my other brace, so I would suggest that accurate measuring of the diameter of your leg above the knee is essential to ensure that you order a size that is accurate to your leg to give maximum support to the knee. I did this and it consequently fits very well and achieves maximum rigidity with still operational flexibility. As this brace has moving metal supports either side of the knee, it is very appropriate for reducing the punishment the knee joint gets during aggressive skiing by minimising the rotation of the knee joint. Note the recommendation to ONLY hand wash this brace

I have injured my medial collateral ligament from skiing. Nowadays my knee gives way every now and then and I end up pulling the ligament. Recently I have also injured the lateral ligament.I have been looking for a knee support or brace with metal reinforcement to provide stability and support when I am doing light activities or to wear whenever I pulled the ligament. After using it on and off for 2 weeks, I give this product 5 star. The fit is perfect (I have measured the knee -14.5 inches and selected size M based on the instruction),since this is elasticated it is probably good to have the brace very tight at the beginning as it will loosen up over time. I have not washed it yet so I cannot comment on that matter. I have not tried playing sports with this brace yet.The brace is comfortable enough to be worn many hours although it is not advisable to wear it more than a few hours at a time. It is bulky so it is not easy to squat while wearing this and it is also not possible to wear it underneath the jeans unfortunately. I am happy with the product so far. Delivery was quick.

Works ok - I use it for tennis - but one of the pockets that the hinge sits in lost all its stitching within a couple of days. Can still be used so I haven’t sent it back but this does suggest cheap assembly and poor QC

Used this after a bad skiing accident where I fractured my tibia and tore numerous ligaments, once I was out of a solid brace. Used it for exercising and it kept the knee nice and stable. I have now taken out the hinges as I no longer need them so use it just as a sleeve.

ordered one size up from chart. said Medium so ordered Large, still to small and very tight. so will try XL. very disappointed.

The metal bars are thin and the ends dig into your upper calf muscle. This is a shame as the brace is otherwise very comfortable and tight fitting.

Étant ateint d'une S.E.P. qui m'invalide la jambe gauche. La genouillère m'aide a garder ma jambe droite au moment de la marche. C'est vraiment top.

size isn't exact

love this knee brace! it helps so much. Both my husband and I use this knee brace, it is great for walking and running. it does not slip down and i love that it actually has a very durable high functioning hinge, since i have bought a lot of braces over the years i have to say this is my favorite one for sure. my husband also has said that we need to buy another one. Make sure to measure your leg though because at first we bought a medium thinking it would fit but had to return it and get a large.
