Skeleton
Bought it for basic Anatomy purposes at it is just perfect. Size- not too big not too small ( skeleton stand on my desk ) . Parts are quite delicate so would not recommend for a child.

Small and a bit flimsy
I wanted this as visual reference for drawing, so it served my purpose as a learning tool, but it is not very robust. It is fiddly to put together and fuzzy on the details (because it's so small), it also falls off its stand and comes apart far too readily. Definitely not a toy and of limited use as a learning resource. However it is reasonably accurate, and for the price it could be a good place to start.

Great study aid for artists!
I've been looking for a proper desktop sized skeleton model (not the 80cm ones, it doesn't sound like a lot but if you think of it, 100cm is a meter, suddenly it seems a bit big for a desk!) and this one I must say is the absolute perfect size to sit on a desk. Also, for its size this skeleton is wonderfully detailed and about 90% accurate I'd say- the extra fingers instead of thumbs is the biggest flaw and I think it's unnecessary. I bought it to help me be better able to visualise the skeleton as I study anatomy for art purposes; the fact that you assemble the skeleton yourself (well, I had to break it apart to assemble it really, they'd done a lot of it for you for display purposes) is actually a great way to help you gain a better understanding of how the pieces fit together and move together. However, it seems that the more you fiddle around with assembling/disassembling the skeleton, the more frail it becomes. As I said, I had to break apart the skeleton to really have a go at assembling it myself, and once I'd done that it was never as solid as it was beforehand (and I don't think I was too rough with pulling it apart either). It's the same with the stand, the holder slides down the pole a lot and the skeleton either slides forwards off of the stand or his legs buckle and he tumbles down. Overall I think this is a great study aid, it's probably best to build it and leave it that way but it's nice to know that I can pull it apart if I need help understanding how things connect.

A bit small and unsteady.
Although granddaughter loved it it’s not very stable, falls over easily so a little disappointed. Will buy a bigger one next time.

Poor buy
Very disappointed. The pelvis and legs don't fit and the spine doesn't stay together. No chance at all of it all in one liece Sadly a real waste of money.

Excellent cheap educational tool
I felt I should review this product because its had a few bad reviews. For the money it is an excellent educational tool. That is really what its for, to help you with basic skeleton anatomy, it is not a toy suitable for young children. Mine arrived within two days of ordering, is fairly easy to put together and stays together. So if you want a cheap basic skeleton to help you learn anatomy this is great (if you forgive that the hands are slightly incorrect, the thumb is wrong). Oh and by the way the blue and red bits are nerves and muscles.

disappointing
a very poor quality, I'm very disappointed. The right femur bone is bent the wrong way, so it's inner part which is bent correctly is completely mis-aligned. For this reason it's not possible to put the right leg together at all!. Also, some holes are smaller than the pins on the parts which are supposed to be snapped into them, so I've had to spend time filing them to make them fit. All in all, not worth the price.

Desk size "decoration" model - good for learning basics
It is a good tool to remind yourself of or learn some basic anatomy, it can be passed on to any young or old siblings or any relatives or friends who are interested in learning some basic anatomy. This can be used as a desk model to remind yourselves of the parts and keep yourself interested in the human anatomy as it will be in sight and in mind. I believe it is a product worth purchasing and the price worth paying for the sake of knowledge.
