20 Extra Long Socket / Plug Screws Electrical M3.5x75mm

Having visited various local DIY stores in order to find some slightly longer than standard 3.5mm socket screws I was well pleased when I discovered that 3.5 x 75mm socket screws were listed on Amazon so ordered a pack of 20 figuring that they may well come in handy for the future and for the price were well worth buying. The screws arrived pretty promptly and worked a treat - basically the electricians had fitted a box on the wall at an angle in the kitchen and with fitting tiles onto the wall meant that the two standard screws weren't long enough! I also purchased some 3.5 x 50mm screws which were just as good.

I bought these as the 50mm ones I had were too short for a couple of sockets I have installed in our new kitchen. Unfortunately these are too long, but seen as you can't seem to buy any in between, I ended up cutting these shorter with a hacksaw. Other than that the quality of the screws is decent and you get a good quantity for a decent price. Recommended.

Great length- will be able to reach any back box, no problem. I was also able to snip the ends to shorten the screws as they actually hit the back of the back box- this was surprising because of how thick our plaster is. Now I have plenty of them just incase. The screw head could do with being embossed a little deeper for ease of use, but overall, they are good quality.

Just a tad too long for my need. Shame they can’t be snapped like the other ones . Socket boxes were readjusted in wall and could t put front on. Got these but just a little too long and I ended up bending it in the box !!

Looked on websites for the major DIY stores, and averaged £3, for a pack of two, that I had to collect,so a reasonable drive. These came in a pack of 20, and were cheaper than just two.and arrived within 2 days, absolute no brainer. Good quality, did the job, would highly recommend. Great value

Just the right thing to complete the job. Prompt delivery no problem.

Poor quality heads

Workmen had added plasterboard some when it came to refitting the light switch the screws were too short. Needed longer ones found these -right length, great price, arrived quickly. Job done. I’ve not got 18 spare! 😀

Mi servivano per un portafrutti a muro dove ci sono delle piastrelle. Con le normali viti in dotazione alla scatola non arrivavo ad avvitare per via dello spessore delle piastrelle e intonaco, con queste sono riuscito benissimo.

L'articolo è arrivato in anticipo di un giorno quindi questo è lodevole; le misure che loro danno sono corrette come diametro e lunghezza, Ma non è corretto il passo della filettatura. Siccome le danno per utilizzarle con la scatola di incasso 503 BTicino o altro; questo non è vero. La filettatura delle viti ha un passo stretto differente dalle viti originali e nella descrizione di vendita non viene indicato il passo dell vite; quindi non va bene. Le devo restituire. Per questo motivo do 3 stelle.

Non è vero che è compatibile con le scatole delle prese elettriche. Il diametro va anche bene ma è il tipo di filetto che è del tutto diverso.

Buongiorno, la vite non entra nel foro dei supporti predisposti per le scatolette elettriche 503! Al contrario di quello che dite nella descrizione.

Ho acquistato le viti pensando andassero perfettamente alle scatolette elettriche 503 come da alcune recensioni, cosa non veritiera. Il diametro della filettatura è più grande .
