What is the wing span and how die these attach, does it fit like a backpack?

If I remember correctly, as I bought them 11 years ago, they expand up to one metre in total. I can't remember how they fit, I think as a backpack but I do remember that it was very easy and comfortable for my 2year old son to wear and move around
