Intel Core i7-6850K High End Desktop Processors CPU - Black

Excellent price for a 6 core 12 thread intel cpu. Out performs the 5820k i replaced with the extra advantage of 40 pci lanes which is definitely useful as i use sli and m2. Overclocked straight away to 4300 mhz just using multiplier with no voltage tweaking. Best available for someone wanting decent performance on a budget.

I was looking at Ryzen to do a new imaging computer build. While a very good specked chip i went with intels 6850K as I know it will do everything I throw at it without any worries and that's what I need. The 6800K is also a great chip and cheaper, Though if you SLI go with the 6850K as you get more pcie lanes. What can I say, It's a brilliant chip and will last me for years and years

Absolute power horse of a CPU and still only running it at the stock clock. Hoping this will last quite a number of years and is holing it's own even with the new processors on the market for daily tasks and high end 4K gaming.

Compared to the 8 core Ryzen this is the best Intel chip you can get for the same price range. Its 6 cores easily go to 4.2Ghz even if you're not an enthusiast. Runs silent even when it's overclocked to this frequency. Chilling this CPU with the same Corsair H100iv2 as the Haswell 4790K it replaced turns out to be more silent under load at the same speeds. The downside is that, for now, the only option for this CPU is the old X99 chipset which is lagging behind with the newest options you get with Z270 chipsets. It's still the loudest bang for the buck in the HEDT playing field if you want the capability of 40 PCIEx lanes. Intel gets 4 stars since the chipset is so old that lower, current, offerings inspire features into the next gen X series and it makes a slow evolving chipset part with a high price tag for such a low offering. E.G.: no raid support on M.2 storage even on slot adapters.

Works great. Not much of an upgrade from the Haswell line in terms of performance but definitely runs cooler and that's great. I've got it slightly overclocked to 4GHz and C-states disabled (pro-audio workstation with watercooling) and the average temp is about 38 C. Not too bad.

Very pleased indeed. Great example. Had several 5930's and my one went faulty after being a great overclocker for years. Replaced it with one of these and it has exceeded my expectations. Seems to overclock very indeed with great temps. All in all, a very nice cpu and I get the 40 pcie lanes I need.

Great processor I use this for gaminh and editing. When gaming it stays around high 30s with my nzxt water cooler & when rendering a video it reaches over 60. Never had any issues with this in terms of performance amazing!!

I was buying a complete new system and this CPU really was more of a childish want rather than a 'Fit my need' kind of purchase. Yes the new AMD chips at half the price outperform this CPU in many areas and not necessarily at a lower quality compromise but.. it's INTEL and it is Quality. I Game And I process video so it does what I need it too but for the cost there are other options. I'm happy with my buy rather than gutted I didn't choose a competitor, I just wish the price bracket wasn't so steep. A great buy and a great buy experience.

以前のPCも４core,3.5Gでしたが画像処理でのもたつきが酷かったのでこれに交換。 6coreの恩恵もあり全てが解消されました。値段の面からSkylakeも考慮しましたが長く使いたいので拡張性のあるCPUにしました。

Video Editing and Rendering. After Effects and all adobe suits. Maya and 3D modelings and all works like deep learning buy this i7 6850K. And if you don't want SLI with M.2 and thunderbolt ports buy i7 6800K. The i7 6700K is only for gaming and somewhat editing stuffs. Ex. If rendering a 4K 10min 60fps footage in primier pro with gtx 1070/1080 the render times will be arround: i7 6700K: 22 min I7 6800K: 16 min I7 6850K: 14 min. Other are also like i7 6900k: 13:30 And i7 6950X: 11:30 min. Which of useless to spend so much. So this is the best. J'ai hésité entre acheter celui-ci et le top en terme de vitesse mais le prix m'a effrayé. Aujourd'hui je suis très content d'avoir acheté celui-ci car pour un petit peu moins de vitesse j'ai économisé beaucoup d'argent et il marche tellement bien que je suis quasiment sure que je n'arriverais pas à voir la différence avec le top de la marque. Je l'utilise pour l’édition vidéo et dans l'ensemble avec les autres composants ça marche vraiment super bien.
