Nice bit of kit to connect easily my CTEK 5 charger/ conditioner to my Car (F type 3.0 R AWD 2017) Installed the connect point in the boot and electrics to car earth and to the brown connector in the boot connection box. Good videos on YouTube showing how to do it all. Remember DO NOT connect CTEK on F type to battery direct or the car will get confused and not know why/where this is extra charge is coming from and I am told it may even cause chip damage ! Don’t let this info put you off, follow the many videos and it’s really simple, and the plug looks professional in the boot.

Good quality product provided with long connector leads. Easy to install, but template can lack stickiness on some surfaces.

C-Tek chargers are the best and had one a while. My battery is under the boot floor (Jaguar X351 XJ) so this is perfect. Attached connectors to battery, and fitted this in side covering of boot (I used a piece of plastic with a hole in it for it to connect into on the backside of the material to give it some strength) . Now I just plug my connector into the side of the boot, and can always see state of battery with indicator lights.

Straightforward and easy to install. Works really well.

All CTek kit is fantastic and this is no exception. I’m going to install this into my second car which doesn’t get used so often. It makes connection to the charger dead easy and the battery condition indicator lamps are just great.

I fitted this to my kit car and what a great addition! No more removing the bonnet to access the battery .. simply keep an eye on the battery status (inconspicuous) LED that let's you know the charge of the battery, and plug it in when your battery starts showing low, simples! My only gripe (reason for my 4* rating), is that you cannot unplug the dash connector from the wiring running to your battery, meaning that when you cut the hole in your dash/panel/whatever, you've got to feed the entire length of the calling through towards the battery (you cannot feed from the battery to dash, only dash to battery) when installing it. If you ever need to then remove the dash/panel/whatever, you need to disconnect the wiring from the battery and remove the unit along with your dash. I hope that makes sense! I may write to CTEK and suggest this for the v.2 version!

I already had my ctek mxs10 and my new car needed charging. I thought I’d buy this so that with this car I only need to get the spanners out once! Now it’s so easy and very tidy. I think it looks great. Installation was easy and there’s plenty of length in the cables. I used nylock nuts to hold the connections down for a solid connection. The sticker that came with it to drill through to start the hole was a helpful touch!

I don't know how many of you have a Smart car but the Battery is difficult to get at, so I installed this to top up battery with ease and speed as my car does little mileage and seldom gets chance to recharge itself, this is a life saver as the indicator tells me when it's time to charge.
