The description had the words "Sponge" and "Applicator"
I erred in thinking they'd be sponge applicators - No. They are absorbent microfiber. As other description words warned. These were classic absorbent microfiber applicators - OK but I wanted a sponge so as NOT to absorb much of what I am applying. I feel some responsibility, so I'll not return.
