Fairly flat and very smooth. The rocks arrived quickly and most of them were perfectly formed.

I never knew I needed a box of river rocks until these arrived at my doorstep. Honestly, I expected a pile of pebbles with the personality of a particularly quiet houseplant, but what I got was a Zen revolution in a cardboard box! First off, each rock seems to have its own quirky vibe. There’s one that looks like a tiny dinosaur egg (I call him “T-Rock”) and another shaped vaguely like an unhappy potato—she’s “Spud.” They now serve as my personal desk therapy squad, supervising all my questionable life decisions from the corner of my workspace. The best part? These river rocks are ridiculously versatile. A few have become doorstops, a couple ended up as cat toys (the cat was unimpressed, but that’s basically high praise for a cat), and I even stacked a bunch to create a borderline-Michelangelo garden sculpture. Now every passing neighbor thinks I’m sophisticated and creative, while in reality I just stacked rocks until they didn’t fall over. If you’re looking for an unexpected boost to your home décor, stress management, or random acts of stonemanship, this box of river rocks is the way to go. Five stars—one for each time I tripped over a rock I forgot I left on the floor. Totally worth it!

Loved the size and shape of these rocks . Delivery was very quick. Price not bad.

Very disappointed. Box does weigh 18 pounds....however...the description leads you to believe you will get 92-100 rocks that measure between 2-3.3" in size. I received 91 rocks of which only 31 rocks measured in that size range. The other 60 rocks measured far less in size averaging between one and a half and two. That is 60% not matching the description. Other vendors sell these smaller stones for far less money and if I had wanted small stones I would've gone with one of them. Will likely be returning.
