Are you known for your history of smashing, cracking or otherwise destroying your phone despite your spouses eye rolls and huffs of frustration? Do you work on a construction site and regularly place your phone between heavy objects and open cups of coffee? THIS IS THE CASE FOR YOU MY FRIEND! Between the sticky-banana hands of children and my partner's best efforts at "bone head moves", these cases are the only thing that prevent me from shelling out thousands of dollars on new phones every year. I kept my previous iPhone in one for over two years, returned to the provider in perfect condition. Partner works in a dusty construction environment and is generally terrible with expensive things - after a series of broken phones, I demanded a LifeProof case on the next one. It survived for two years under his care and came out perfectly - this may not be an accomplishment to some but for us this is going in the scrapbook. Highlights, folks, highlights: - Slim profile, not as chunky as Otterbox cases and can fit in my pocket - Truly waterproof if installed correctly (the toddlers have tested) - Annoying headphone jack screw thing from previous version is gone, was necessary for waterproofing but thankful it's no longer necessary - Can survive serious rough housing (dropped off roof onto cement... yeah, this is my life) - If you have issues with muffling sound/microphone, go to your Settings-General-Accessibility and turn off your noise cancellation setting as indicated in the instructions All this on top of an AMAZING warranty. We bought this exact case for a new phone and the corner didn't snap all the way shut. I pushed and pushed, took it off, put it back on, just wouldn't do the thing. One 3 minute form on their website and a small shipping fee later, a replacement case was provided with no questions asked, no photos necessary, no return of original needed. Easy as pie. Consider us lifetime customers, worth every penny plus some.

Bought to replace my husband’s previous LifeProof phone case that he absolutely destroyed from years of brutal use (exposure to metal shavings, mechanic grease, numerous drops on conference floors, etc.). Literally the ONLY case I was able to find to fit his iPhone SE, and I spent forever searching for one. Not MagSafe or wireless charging capable.

I’ve used Lifeproof cases on my IPhones and Galaxy’s for the last ten years or so and I haven’t been able to find anything better (believe me, I’ve tried to find a less expensive case that works as well). I work in the mechanical trades, so my phone stays in my front pants pocket along with keys and tools and whatever else I stick in there while working from a ladder or climbing through a mechanical space. The Lifeproof Fre case, with the built-in screen protector and totally enclosed construction, has always kept my phones in mint condition in spite of occasional drops from varying heights and sharp objects scratching across the surface. The case that I just bought was the second one for my IPhone 7. The first one lasted me about two years before the microphone diaphragms got dirty and brittle enough to distort and muffle my voice so people complained that they couldn’t hear me. I’ve noticed that this seems to be the average expiration date on this case for me at least, between 18-24 months before it needs replacement. When I pulled the old case off the IPhone, the phone looked brand new, completely and utterly scratch and damage free (as they always do) in spite of the abuse the case showed. Personally, I probably wouldn’t recommend this case for someone who works at an office or other low-damage potential job and doesn’t need the dust-and-waterproofing and impact protection because there is a slight reduction in screen sensitivity especially when the protector starts to get scratched up, and you might experience microphone and speaker muffling depending on how you tend to hold the phone. In summary, although I always wince at the price of this case when I need one, I can’t deny that it’s well worth it in my case.

It's worth the extra money: after 3 years my previous phone came out looking factory-new. Unfortunately, the case itself doesn't last that long: the rubber-ish material doesn't stand the test of time. After about a year and a half the corners start wearing, and the green underside peeks through.

SE2 2020 case. I have had 4 of this design. I washed and dried a phone with this case and iphone came out working fine for another 2 years when it was replaced, still looking brand new. Only problem ever encountered was loosing external volume control buttons on one case.

I’ve been using LifeProof Fre cases for about 8 years. They are increasingly hard to find, but the various other brands I’ve tried were nowhere near as sturdy. I’m a clumsy person, I used to do a lot of outdoor work and my phones get a lot of torture — the Fre case has saved my phone many times. They usually last me at least a year before the rubberized edges start to crumble. This one works and fits fine, but it developed a crack at the charging jack opening before I’d even had it for 6 months. I noticed the packaging was different, as others have mentioned. I know shrinkflation has affected most products, so I guess this item is either a fake or the shape of things to come?

Ich habe diese Hülle jetzt schon zum 3 mal gekauft, die letzte im April 24, ich muss dazu sagen das mein Handy super klasse geschützt ist und immer im Extremeinsatz ist mit runterfallen, Staub ect, weshalb ich die Hülle auch immer wieder kaufe, trotz nicht allzu langer Lebensdauer. Bisher war es immer innerhalb der Garantie weshalb Amazon ohne muken und murren sofort das Geld erstattet hat!! Super Service ! Bisher noch keine vergleichbare Hülle gefunden und ohne diese würde mein IPhone definitiv nicht mehr leben ;D Eine längere Lebensdauer wäre jedoch für den Preis zu wünschen.

100% recommend. Had one of these for my iPhone 5s. The phone was in it for more than 5 years and came out looking like it had just come out of the box. I work in construction and the phone in the case went through the lot. Just upgraded to an iPhone 8 and made the error of buying a much cheaper Otterbox which was falsely described as being dust proof. This case seems to have been made identically. Despite people’s comments about the charging port cover being flimsy, on my previous case it never got damaged or malfunctioned. As for sound quality on calls I never had any problems with hearing people but after a while worked out that you sometimes have to pop the charging port cover open for them to hear you properly, especially if you haven’t cleaned the dust out of the recessed ports from the bottom of the case for a while (dust can still not get to the phone through these). This case is barely bigger than the phone itself. It isn’t that cheap but I can put this in my pocket and forget about what could be happening to my very expensive phone. 10 out of 10.

So che lifeproof è stata acquisita da Otterbox ma ha mantenuto il logo ,la sigla e le cover! Ho preso questa cover guardando più alla qualità che all’estetica ,(arrivo da una cover simile ma marca diversa).

These cases are really great. They are touch and water proof to a certain degree. Never had any issue with life proof cases. They do not disappoint and these were not knock offs!
