In Twisted Love and Twisted Games, we got a glimpse of Josh, and he wasn't a character I liked very much. He was very arrogant and selfish. Starting the book, I didn't know if I wanted him to have any kind of happy end ing if it was paid for or not. But then he and Jules end up working/volunteering at the same place, his sister keeps inviting him places so that he and Alex can get back to friends. So, it makes sense that Jules and Josh are thrown together very frequently and begin to not hate each other as much without really realizing it. Their back-and-forth banter is hilarious. They have chemistry there is no denying it. And they want to hold on to that hate that they have been so comfortable with since they have known each other. That is until they have hate intimacy and that just changes everything. They can't get enough of each other so they make a pact to keep having the hate intimacy. There are rules. Rules that are broken left and right. And it's so hot and steamy and angry that it makes it hotter. When I say I've read a lot of steamy books it's been about hundreds and hundreds of books. But when I tell you I have NEVER read anything like that bedroom scene with the silk scarves. It left me without words, without the ability to form a single thought. Then when my mind rebooted I realized how lucky Jules was. This man has put all the book boyfriends to shame. He has set the bar unrealistically high. This was honestly Ana Huang's best book of the series. The tone of the book was slightly darker than the other two and it was definitely angrier than the others and it worked so well. When you break it down Jules and Josh are two broken people who need someone to trust. They gravitate towards each other because someone who hates you isn't going to lie to you. They will tell you the truth even if it hurts. And the truth does hurt them. It hurts them in a way that leaves the reader crying because how can it get that bad. You want them to just learn that it's ok to be loved, its ok to trust and its ok to not always get along. Jules does things to keep Josh from hating her for real and Josh does something that destroys her. UGH my heart. I know how it ends but I am still devastated reliving that one scene where Josh says "I lied." I cried for both of them. They didn't deserve that. And then who he turns to, to help him when the one person he loves is hurt is very surprising. What he does is even more surprising. Read the book. It is everything you need in your life. It is so good. I pre-ordered this book middle of last year and also signed up for the arc because I couldn't wait any longer. LOL. TOTALLY WORTH IT!!! *I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving a complimentary copy* Review: Josh and Jules - Quote:"Remember when I said I forgive you, I lied." That quote right there was.... I wasn't ready for it😫😩 I love the enemies-to-lovers trope; it's one of my favorites. I enjoyed how this book and Twisted Games intertwined with one another and hearing from familiar characters. I'm so happy for the other two couples and how life is going for them and Josh & Jules belong together! This was a solid and entertaining read, and I look forward to buddy reading the last book with my bestie.

𝚋𝚘𝚘𝚔 𝚛𝚎𝚟𝚒𝚎𝚠: 𝚝𝚠𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚍 𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚎 𝚋𝚢 𝚊𝚗𝚊 𝚑𝚞𝚊𝚗𝚐 ★★★★.5 "𝙉𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙜𝙤𝙤𝙙 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙧𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩-𝙨𝙬𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙜𝙪𝙮 𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖 𝙛𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙤𝙣 𝙖 𝙙𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙥𝙥. 𝘿𝙤𝙪𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙙 𝙛𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙨 𝙞𝙛 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙜𝙪𝙮’𝙨 𝙣𝙖𝙢𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙏𝙤𝙙𝙙.” For the third installment of the Twisted series, this one is the best yet. Now, trust me, I love Rhys as much as anyone, but Josh Chen really takes it up a notch. I was enthralled with this book and read it in a couple of days! Now for the breakdown! "𝙊𝙣𝙡𝙮 𝙖 𝙛𝙚𝙬 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙬𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙘𝙚𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙣: 𝙙𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙝, 𝙩𝙖𝙭𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙛𝙖𝙘𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙅𝙤𝙨𝙝 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙗𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨.” Jules Ambrose- an amazing female mc, she is so headstrong and how she handles judgement in an unbothered way. Throughout her life, she goes through so much and grows into this amazing woman. Also, the fact that she’s a lawyer and puts so much time and effort into it? Role model. “𝙋𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙩𝙮 𝙨𝙪𝙧𝙚 𝙄 𝙬𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙’𝙫𝙚 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙬𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙄 𝙨𝙖𝙬 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙪𝙧𝙡𝙚𝙙 𝙪𝙥 𝙡𝙞𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙨𝙝𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙥.” Josh Chen- a doctor, an amazing brother, sarcasm galore, witty, good taste in movies, spicy 🌶🥵, compassionate and caring. YES PLEASE. I love him and want. "𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙣𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨 𝘽𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙫𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙚 𝙢𝙤𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙨. 𝙄 𝙬𝙖𝙨𝙣’𝙩 𝙖𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙢𝙚𝙙 𝙩𝙤 𝙖𝙙𝙢𝙞𝙩 𝙞𝙩. 𝙄𝙩 𝙬𝙖𝙨 𝙖 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙘𝙡𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙘.” THE BANTER/ENEMIES TO LOVERS- wow wow wow. The tension and passion in their words and spats, is unbelievable. You can feel it through the pages. I just wanted them to kiss every time they fought!! Josh and Jules supremacy. Even though they denied their feelings for so long, it was so worth it!!! And how alike they really are? Match made in heaven. “𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙚,” 𝙄 𝙨𝙖𝙞𝙙 𝙖𝙜𝙖𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙝. “𝙇𝙚𝙩 𝙖𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙢𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙤𝙪𝙘𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙝𝙤𝙬 𝙚𝙖𝙨𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙖 𝙢𝙖𝙣’𝙨 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙖𝙨 𝙄 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙨𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙤𝙣𝙚.” The plot- it was amazing, went super smoothly, and I kept wanting to read more and more and not stop. The conflict of this book however, around the 80% mark, seemed silly to me. I feel like it was slightly out of character for Jules to not confide in Josh, and the response to said conflict just seemed to be there so there was something. It didn’t bug me much, but I wished it were a bit better. “𝘽𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙪𝙨𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙢𝙚. 𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙩𝙤𝙙𝙖𝙮, 𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙤𝙧𝙧𝙤𝙬, 𝙖 𝙮𝙚𝙖𝙧, 𝙤𝙧 𝙙𝙚𝙘𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙨 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙣𝙤𝙬, 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚.” Overall, I flew through this book with love and amazement and it is my favorite so far. Josh and Jules are an amazing couple, who fit so well together. The passion, the love, the banter. Yes, yes, yes. I can’t wait for book 4, and to see Stella’s story! “𝙄𝙣 𝙘𝙖𝙨𝙚 𝙞𝙩’𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩 𝙘𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙧, 𝙄 𝙛𝙪𝙘𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙅𝙪𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘼𝙢𝙗𝙧𝙤𝙨𝙚, 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙮. 𝙀𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙮 𝙬𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙢𝙚 𝙘𝙧𝙖𝙯𝙮.”

When it comes to Ana Huang books, you know you’re in for a wild ride. But it’s not just the exceptional steam that gets my attention about these books, it’s the depth of these characters, the trauma they’ve suffered and overcome, the strength that’s both obvious and hidden and the relationships they build with everyone else in the books. While Bridget and Rhys are always going to be my absolute favourite of the series, Jules and Josh blew me away. And it’s in part the intensity of these characters and in part the story that Ana managed to tell between all the hate and banter and beautifully explicit sex. Jules Ambrose and Josh Chen hate each other. Everyone knows it, they don’t try to hide it. They are constantly at each other’s throats, they bicker, argue and fight all the time. With them, there’s no holding back. It started when Jules and Ava (Josh’s sister and heroine from Twisted Love) were in college and sharing a dorm. Jules overheard something Josh said about her to Ava and she didn’t hold back on showing him just how little she cares about him. And to Josh, Jules has always come across as reckless and wild, which irritates him because he believes that if Jules is involved, Ava is going to get herself into a whole lot of trouble that he can’t save her from. And over the years, the hate and banter and rage has turned into simmering sexual tension that almost everyone around them can feel, so when they make a deal to enjoy an enemies with benefits situation, neither of them hesitate. Except, the more you sleep with someone, the more you see them for who they are and suddenly all those feelings you thought you never felt before bubble to the surface. I don’t think there are enough words for me to say to talk about how awesome this book was. So much happens in this book that I obviously can’t mention in my review, but what I can definitely tell you is that the sexual tension and chemistry in this book is insane. Jules and Josh spend a good part of the book snapping at each other, and I’m talking proper enemies to lovers situation here. They hate each other’s guts and don’t care about hurting the other person. Words spew out and it’s kinda intense. But, it’s also so well done. I enjoyed their wicked dialogue and the way they push each other’s buttons, I enjoyed watching Jules knock Josh down a peg or two. She’s all fire, and not just because of her red hair, Jules is bada** and she’s not going to let anybody stop her from living her life the way she wants. She fights for what she wants, she’s opinionated and forward, confident and passionate and even though life dealt her a bad hand at one point, she’s come a long way since her traumatising childhood to have something so great, she’s not going to let just anyone take it away from her. Josh, if you’ve read Twisted Love then you’ll know all of this, has been through his own share of crazy things—his father’s gone to prison, he almost lost his sister, he did lose his best friend—and through it all, he had to stand tall and strong and it’s taken a toll on him. Between that and his residency, Josh is basically stretched so thin that fighting with Jules is the highlight of his life. I loved the steam, as I always do with Ana’s books, but the thing that really got me was the slow build of Jules and Josh’s relationship. You know it’s coming, because DUH. But it’s the way it happens. It’s slow and then all of a sudden it just whacks you in the face. And I’m a sucker for romances where he falls first after spending a good portion of the book wanting to kill her. And watching Josh go through the motions of his feelings—denying, accepting, confusion, denying—was an absolute treat. I loved their friendship too and how they leaned on each other when they least expected it, how their lives changed because of the other person and how everything in their lives just made sense with each other. And, now that we’ve met the very delicious hero that gets to charm and win Stella over, I am even more curious about her book. I cannot wait for Twisted Lies, because if these first three books are anything to go by…it’s going to be truly awesome.

Jules and Josh just reminded me about a couple I used to know some years ago… 🫣 We were young and stubborn, like them… and we were always getting on fire when together, also just like them. 😂 Luck me I didn’t have a ‘Max’ in my life… and poor of me I didn’t have him at the end… 🤷🏻♀️ Seriously, I liked so much the story. Besides Jules’ problems, the story ended in a perfect way. Ana writes with her heart, for sure! I’m looking forward to read about Stella and Christian…

Well… Lets start with… I don’t even know where to start This was absolutely unquestionably AMAZING. Like this was so so good and I can’t explain how good this book was built up through out twisted love and twisted games. This is probably the best book with bantering I’ve read. Like DAMN the conversations between them was so good it had me laughing, smirking and screaming. They’re relationship was so fantastic and the way the looked out for each other is dream worthy. Josh being protective and jealous was seriously one of my favorite things with this book. No I seriously loved all of it and as with the two first books the writing was amazing and I have NOTHING to complain about. I’m so excited to read twisted lies and I can’t wait for my copy to show up out side my door, I have devoured every book so far and there’s no doubt in my mind I will devour the last one as well, I even have a feeling it’s going to be my absolute favorite in this series
