Highly Recommended
Excellent machine that brews fantastic coffee. Very easy to use and clean. Great price point for a nice coffee maker. I had a minor issue with mine and SimplyGoodCoffee's customer service was absolutely wonderful - they resolved the issue quickly and completely. Highly recommended!

Mediocre Coffee maker
Nice looking coffee maker, but if you like strong coffee, this isn’t for you. The machine makes a pot really fast and will overflow the ground filter with water in normal use. The coffee in the craft doesn’t stay hot for very long either. Maybe 10 minutes and it’s cooling off. Great if you like weak coffee maker

This Coffee Maker is a winner!
I really like this well made coffee maker. My organic coffee does not have that plastic taste that I was getting with my older brewer. It strikes me as well engineer, and its kind of cool to watch it brew. And it brews very fast which was pleasantly surprising. It is easy to use, and easy to clean.

Fast and good cup of coffee
I like the speed of the brew and the taste of all coffee used so far. My only complaint is you don’t get a full 8 cups unless you add a 1/2 cup more water after it’s gone down enough to add the water. It could be that I roast my own beans and they absorb more water. If I put 8 cups in I will end up with 7.5 cups of fresh brewed coffee. I almost didn’t try this because I’m used to brewing 12 cups for the last 40 years. I can live with having to add a little water for a full pot of 8 cups and I do like the bloom function. That said, I close the basket valve until it fills then release and close again just before the water stops in the bloom stage. I then wait 20 seconds to open it up. This allows more time for the coffee to fully bloom. If you don’t do this I believe the bloom time that passes is too short for achieving ultimate results. I’m a bit of a snob when it comes to my coffee as it’s a complex consumable with a lot going on under the hood that most don’t even know about or consider learning how to roast and brew a great cup! Now the new No Plastic version that is out now…way too much money, this one is just fine! Just my 2 cents.

Great Tasting Coffee
Very first cup of coffee from Simply Good tasted significantly better than any coffee I'd ever made for myself before. Round, rich, full flavor, no bitterness. Though I use cream and a bit of sugar, straight black was fabulous too. (I may have to switch.) I have been using the classic Braun Aromaster for the past 30 years because it brewed great coffee, but the Simply Good was far superior in taste. I am surprised every morning just how good my coffee is. This is what I like about it: 1. Small footprint, does not eat up entire counter like many coffee makers. 2. Simple operation -- easy to fill with filter, coffee and water. One button on and coffee's ready in 6 minutes. 3. Coffee is properly hot. 4. Cost is reasonable, and a lot less (sometimes by half) than similar coffee makers. 5. Attractive appearance, it looks like it makes good coffee, and it does! 6. Just one minor concern: automatic turnoff in 40 minutes (I know--to keep the coffee from burning) but I just hit the on button for another 40 minutes. That said, this my coffee maker for the next 30 years. Highly recommended.

Was not plastic free
Saw the ads for plastic free. Looked it up on Amazon and bought it. Was not plastic free. Apparently they still also sell the plastic version of this coffee maker and don't call it out so I'm not sure how anyone can know which one they are ordering. This was an unpleasant surprise. There are plastic parts internally that cannot be replaced according to the manufacturer. So I can't even just buy a few parts to go plastic free. I'm locked in. Decent coffee maker, but damnit, don't advertise for a product that looks the same and is listed under the same name and brand as plastic free when you're still selling the identical thing with plastic. Really shouldn't be hard to anticipate that you'd be misleading some people right?

Good coffee not hot
I love how easy this is to use and clean and it puts out a great cup of coffee. However, if you like your coffee hot you must drink it immediately because the coffee does not stay warm. I don’t think there is a warming plate feature and the carafe is made of super thin, cheap feeling glass which holds no heat

DEAD ON ARRIVAL-Did not brew.
I rarely give a 1 Star and not recommend a product, but this takes the cake. How disappointing as it did not work or did I have a chance to try even one cup of coffee. It would turn on but the water did not flow down from the reservoir to the heating chamber to begin the brewing process. Interestingly, the trouble shooting page gave 3 explanations. 1. Make sure product is plugged in. 2. Proper amount of water. 3. Contact manufacture. Returned immediately. WARNING: For this high of a price it should work flawlessly, at least initially.
