We’ve tried lots of better brands of sink and bathtub fixtures, such as Delta and Price Pfister. They left us disappointed in the quality they offered for the price. Hansgrohe is an exception. We have several faucet fixtures and now have this shower head. All are pleasing to look at, obviously well made, have a nice finish that doesn’t wear off or deteriorate, and, most importantly, they don’t leak. Also quite importantly, this offers a very nice shower experience. Great flow. Offers a number of settings to suit different people, moods, or other needs (like washing the dogs). The handheld portion is light in weight, which is nice when bathing the dogs, particularly. But that’s JustMe and my dogs. (I received this product in exchange for an honest review, and that is what I have offered here.)

Not worth the price, better options out there

This is a simple handheld shower head from hansgrohe. Hansgrohe is a premium supplier of various products, that are lauded for their build quality. The build quality is not only the outside, but the inside as well (valves/diverters/hoses etc). This showerhead is extremely simple -- it's simple a wand shower head with a bracket. The hose does not have visible rivets -- rather it's a completely smooth hose. The hose is slightly heavy, and feels like a good quality. The head is brushed nickel/stainless and has a good weight -- not too heavy and not too light. Installation is simple, and took only a few minutes. Using it -- the pressure is excellent and even, and there's a button to adjust the stream to 3 modes. Not much else to say is that it's very beautiful in its simplicity and works perfectly.

as always, HansGrohe delivers... this is a gorgeous shower head... it is designed to be used on the shower arm, and can pull off, no slider bar on this one.... sometimes that is all you need...hose is very flexible, spray pattern superb.... finish, as always is superb, which is why you pay a premium for both hans and grohe...two different German companies... both high quality products... highly recommended....

It is German design and engineering delivers exceptional performance for all of your shower needs. The shower kit includes the Raindance S 120 2. 5 GPM Hand-shower with Powder Rain, the Techniflex Shower Hose, and the Hand shower Shower arm Mount in Brushed Nickel. I am not overly impressed with the plastic shower hose; it is somewhat bulk and doesn’t hang all that well. The 5-inch hand shower spray face mimics the feeling of a natural rain shower, creating a spa-like shower experience. It is easy to install. I can give this item a 5-stars rating.

I replaced a cheap $20 handheld shower fixture in my new apartment with this bad boy, and it changed my life. All three shower settings, are simply delightful, and I am stricken with guilt every time I linger. Of the three settings, I have to say my favorite is the "PowderRain" setting. The silicon nozzles are super easy to clean off when they scale up. One minor complaint is that the housing and attachment ends are plastic, and no teflon tape is provided..so I was not able to get a perfect water tight seal on one of the connections right out of the box. Seriously. Get this shower. Your water bill and the planet may suffer, but hey, you're worth it.

Our new home's bathroom shower had a pretty simple showerhead. This was a great upgrade. Took 5 minutes to install. The result is a 3-way head (focused, wide, super-wide spray) that can easily be removed from its hanger and used as a hand shower. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an upgrade, but unwilling to use a sledgehammer and a plumber to get a fancy diverter system. 90% of the benefit for 5% the cost...

My daughter and her boyfriend put this up in her bathroom by themselves, so I can easily say it was simple to install. She says the water pressure is great and she likes how it has such a large shower head; it's relaxing. There are three different water settings. Overall it's easy to maneuver handheld and easy to hold on to, but the smooth tubing looks a bit cheap, and is a bit stiff. It seems rather expensive to me, but it does look nice.
