IF left in the free levelling/pendulum setting it is pretty good as long as you're within 3-4 degrees of level (otherwise it flashes). When the lock is engaged it is pretty much useless unless you have tripod with spirit level bubble, because as you engage the lock it fixes the laser lens at 90 degrees to the case of the unit, which is invariably NOT level, so you require another means of creating a level mount or surface. the projection of the lines are good and even at 10metres projection the lines were only a few mm wide so it is still easy to see an accurate reading, the field of projection is quite wide/tall too. The included bracket is usefully magnetic too, stuck well to the side of the fridge. So as I said, not bad for the money.

Very happy with product, did the job well

This is a very nice piece of kit for the price, however you do need a tripod (it does fit on a camera tripod, so that is great) and spirit level to set up. Once it is setup however it does a very good job of projecting the lines. One thing I noticed was that the lines do move significantly between the pendulum lock, and unlocked position. Did the job I bought it for, and did not need to read the instructions, so I ma happy with the product. I have only had is a couple of days, and only used it a couple of times, so I cannot speak abut how it will do in the long run.

What a discovery. I always thought these were too expensive so never gave them a thought as an amateur DIY'er but I was so wrong. I needed to hang wall paper all around a small down stairs toilet and and then panel it. I used a selfie stick to raise it and it worked a treat. The level is spot on accurate and allowed me to hang the first piece plum vertical as well as subsequent pieces. I've yet to add the panels but I know this will be so much more accurate and easier with this handy level. Bargain

I really liked the idea of this and it does have some good features and merits - but for me it just feels very cheaply made and would not last long if using it frequently. Would be ok for small diy use but nothing else. Will be returning it. As other have mentioned when you actually try and lock it off in a position the platform actually raises up a bit. So you either need to factor that in or just use in the unlocked position at all times

This was a great purchase for me to help level my mounted shelves and posters for my gaming setup. The quad grid helps you position everything precisely without needing to get a ruler out. I would highly recommend this laser level as it is relatively inexpensive but also provides something of good quality. I used this when it was still bright out but the laser was still visible, which shows how strong it is in the daytime. The only issue I had was opening the battery slot which was a little hard to open. Overall great product but be careful as it is a powerful laser make sure you do NOT look directly at it.

Great for finetuning

Ottima livella laser, l'ho utilizzata per costruire una cabina armadio in cartongesso (abbastanza grande 3.5 mt x 4.00mt) e devo dire che a fine lavori mi sono trovato con un errore di 0.00011 mm. Praticamente perfetto. E' dotata di 2 batterie pronte per lavorare e di un supporto magnetico abbastanza robusto e resistente da poggiare sempre contro un profilo di ferro e/o qualsiasi metallo che abbiate a disposizione. E' dotata di livella fissa e autolivellante la seconda molto più comoda in quanto ti trovi a lavorare in situazioni anguste e/o particolari devi utilizzare per forza l'autolivella. Il fascio di luce è molto forte e ben visibile. Diciamo che come primo lavoro mi sono trovato alla grande.
