What can i say ? Its built by smallrig and as per my experience with them they make some good stuff , and this one is no different It does everything it says , its a functional ball head ( not that smooth , it could have had a bit more resistance ) that lets you put stuff on the cold shoe mount at the price i got it for it sure is value for money without any doubt , mount lights , a second camera ? what ever floats your boat .

These are very useful and the build quality is higher than I expected it to be. I’ve mainly been using these to mount display panels and lights, and they do the job well.

We've come a long way from the first low-quality mini ballheads that were a staple several years ago. SmallRig has defined the benchmark for these little suckers and there's no reason not to have a handful in your kit at all times. I use them for web cams, small mics and LED lights, and other genera purpose fixes. These fit beautifully on my SmallRig iPhone cage and lock in quite well. They're very stable once you get them positioned. The cold shoe collar is really well made and has plenty of adjustment for virtually every mounting device with a receiver. You can easily remove the cold shoe with the included wrench (see photo) for direct mounting to 1/4-20 threaded studs. If you have table-top tripods and magic arms, this is the option you want to use. The body is really well made, very smooth and durable, with no machining marks or rough edges. The finish helps ensure your gear is stable and easy to position. They're a little pricey compared to some, but these are the best balance between cost and functionality I've yet to find.
