It's a salt-pinch bowl. The advertising says it's made out of mulberry wood. It comes with a small carved spoon to scoop the salt out with. It's really attractive and the carving is very well done. I'm thinking of buying more but I need to know if there are other "designs" for the carving. Very well done and well worth the money.

I would definitely recommend this little salt box. It’s actually not too small, not too big. Not sure if I’ll use the spoon or just my fingers but it’s nice to have either way. I also love that it’s handmade. I will say that Amazon could have put the box into something more sturdy than a bag with no packing to protect it but thankfully the salt container was protected inside its thin box.

If you’re thinking of buying this salt box (or whatever you plan to use it for) buy it! It’s well made, unique and the perfect size. With great detail. It would be the perfect gift as well. I initially bought one. Then quickly bought 2 more, one being gifted.
