J'ai acheté le Rustins MDGP500 dans l'espoir de préparer efficacement mes plateaux en MDF avant peinture. L'application du produit s'est révélée plutôt aisée, ce qui est un point positif. Cependant, mon expérience globale est très décevante. Contrairement à ce que j'attendais, je n'ai constaté aucune différence notable entre les plateaux MDF peints avec cet apprêt et ceux peints directement. Mon principal objectif était d'obtenir une teinte uniforme sur l'ensemble du plateau après peinture, en particulier au niveau des chants, qui ont tendance à absorber la peinture différemment. Malheureusement, cet apprêt n'a pas répondu à cette attente. Les chants sont restés nettement plus clairs que le reste de la surface. Pour obtenir une couleur homogène, j'ai finalement dû appliquer trois couches de peinture successives, soit le même nombre que j'utilise habituellement sans apprêt. L'utilisation du Rustins MDGP500 n'a donc apporté aucun gain de temps ni d'efficacité dans mon processus de peinture. En conclusion, je ne peux absolument pas recommander ce produit pour la préparation du MDF avant peinture. Il ne semble remplir aucune fonction et constitue, à mon avis, une perte d'argent et de temps. Si vous recherchez une solution pour uniformiser la teinte de vos plateaux MDF après peinture, ce produit ne vous apportera pas satisfaction.

I got this primer for a project I was giving an old MDF desk a new lease of life and wanted a good quality primer before painting its final colour, This was absolutely perfect for that job, the primer is a nice colour, using a roller (big desk) i used this to cover both sides and im going to say the finish was perfect, the primer went on really well and dried really fast in fact I was able to complete my whole project in one day. One can does go along way in fact I had a little left over which I intend to use for another project (will need to order another of course) The primer was very easy to clean off the roller and the brush I used for the edge, its been months since I completed the project and the primer has been perfect, in fact I left the underneath in the great as it looked really good and with the led lights it reflects it better. Over all perfect a great product and brand happy to use them again and recommend
