Haven't used yet! But looks sturdy and should do for hunting.

I don’t get in a stand much for rifle season so this is perfect for a kneeling position in the ground. It is fairly flimsy at the latch points that extend the stick. I’ve remedied this problem using gorilla tape wrapped around the post. It’s sticky enough to use again and again and I think the stick would break in half before collapsing with this in place. It flimsy but does the job well! This is the Second one I’ve purchased as I just left my other one in the back of his truck. Well worth seven bucks again and again and again. You could go through five of these and still not reach the price point of the other brands available.

Decent value. Opens relatively quietly. I like the versatility of it. Very lightweight. I underestimated how tall I would need for my blind. That was my fault. Only 4 stars because I think they could have easily added another section to allow for more range

Worked well at a good price

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Nice lil shooting stick just not very tall. You have to be sitting down to use the stick. I wasn't too happy about that. Seems pretty durable though so that is an upside to this. Maybe suitable more for a kid.

Light and sturdy

I've been using this to help balance my very front heavy crossbow. It's inexpensive, light weight, and a good length to shoot with while seated. Don't mistake this for a walking stick or cane, it won't hold your weight. It does a great job of holding up my 10 lb crossbow, allowing me to sit with it up, ready to fire, for hours. I have also used it to shoot while standing by putting the tip on my hip. The only downside (and the reason it gets only 4 stars for stability) is there is no basket on the point so it will sink into the ground. While that could let you drive it in to stand on it's own, you'll find your sights sinking lower and lower as the day goes on. I counteract the sinking with a little scrap of wood for the point to sit on. Overall, this has been a great addition to my hunting gear.

The shooting stick works well. It provides a stable shooting platform when in the kneeling position, I feel it a bit easier for me then using my leg as a brace when shooting. or if your in a blind sitting down it helps there as well if you are unable to bench rest your rifle.
