Walkers Stem Ginger Shortbread-6.2 oz

I always have the Walkers shortbread fingers in the house so thought I’d try their Ginger shortbread. When they arrived, the box looked like it had a rough trip as it was partially crushed on the ends, but luckily, only 1 cookie was broken. They taste AMAZING! The shortbread is buttery and melts in your mouth and when you bite into a piece of the stem ginger—you can feel the heat! These taste better and are fresher tasting than other ginger cookies I’ve had and they have just the right amount of ginger—not too much—as this stem ginger is potent. They are a bit expensive so I wish they had either a larger box or multiple boxes bundled for a better price. I will get these again as a real treat to have with a good cup of tea.

Ich liebe englische Ingwerkekse und habe einige probiert. Das sind für mich die besten. Sie schmecken wunderbar nach Ingwer, ohne dass der Ingwer wiederum zu sehr im Vordergrund steht. Einfach gut - zum Tee, zum Kaffee - oder einfach mal so als "kleine Sünde" zwischendurch.
