MINI Starter Kit ,White

I've been using this for six months now, and wanted to wait that long to write a review to make sure that this works. I originally splurged (thanks to a great coupon on Sephora) on the regular-sized device, along with the ELE eye and lip enhancer and the laser adaptors, but only used them twice before returning the set and getting the NuFace Mini from Amazon. While I saw results when I used the regular NuFace after each session, I decided to exchange it for the Mini since I quickly realized that the Mini would allow me to do almost everything that I had been hoping that the ELE attachment would enable me to do. As a bit of background, I'm a few months shy of 45, and, while I think my skin looks decent overall because I've been using Retin-A for about fifteen years, I do have some slackness to my face and my crows' feet have been getting more pronounced. I don't have any desire to get injections, so this seemed like a good alternative, and it has been so far. While it hasn't done any miracles on my face, my crows' feet do seem improved, and my skin looks tighter. It hasn't made much of a difference in my naso-labial folds, and I really had been hoping it would. When I used it the first time, the ELE adaptor left a huge indentation along my left-hand smile line that took 48 hours (!!!) to fully go away. I was following along with the video when this happened, and have to say that it really freaked me out. Even my husband noticed and asked me what was going on. When I contacted the company, they said that they couldn't really advise me what to do, but, as I said, it did go away. After that, I decided to return the large NuFace since using the ELE attachment again made me nervous, and that's when I bought this Mini. The way that this works is that you use it in sweeping motions and in certain held positions until it beeps at you after five seconds. In the places where you sweep, you pass it over three areas, three times each, in a certain pattern. Because this was such a large expense for me, I read a ton of reviews on various websites before buying the regular NuFace and then the Mini, and here are some things to know before you buy: --Realize that this does take a time commitment. When you first get it, you're supposed to use it six days a week for the first two months, and after that you can cut back to a few times a week. You only need to use it five minutes a day, but you can add on a few extra holds in other areas of your face, which is what I have been doing since I got it back in November. Even doing that, a treatment session takes about fifteen minutes, which is much better for lazy me than the twenty to thirty minutes that using the two other attachments (the ELE and laser) would take. I know that I’m lazy about the extra commitment that using the ELE and laser attachments would require, so, for me, the Mini seemed like a better option. --I definitely taste a metallic taste after using this along my jawline and near my mouth. It goes away after about an hour, but is still a bit unsettling at first. --Other reviewers are correct that the gel that this comes with is pretty awful. It dries right away, and if it’s not wet, you’ll have to keep applying it or you will feel a sting. I ended up buying some aloe vera gel, but it didn't work that well and I had red marks on my face. I decided to get some ultrasound gel ( Spectra 360 Electrode Gel - Parker Laboratories - 8.5 oz Tube - (Pack of 2) ), and it works perfectly. --Speaking of the sting, if you do notice this, use more gel and those stings will go away. I also had some red streaks the first time I used this since I hadn’t realized that I needed to re-apply the gel since it dried up really quickly on my first pass of the device. --When you get the device, the instruction manual will include a link to a NuFace site with some videos on how to use this device properly. I followed along a few times, then I placed the printed out instructions in a sheet protector so I could keep it on hand for reference and not be worried about water dripping on it (a lesson learned the hard way). --The company also has a free app you can download to your smartphone that will walk you through using it and also give you reminders. --I’m on the smaller side with a long, narrow face, so the regular NuFace’s balls felt almost too large to get in smaller places like under my eyebrows and above my lips. The Mini glides along my face and is easier to use for me. --I had really wanted the light attachment, but it sends out constant pulses of light, and that made it a challenge for me to use since it hurt my eyes while using it. I know you can wear goggles while using that attachment to avoid the annoyance, but the flashing light around my eyes would still be present when using it on those areas. --Expect for your face to hurt a bit after you first start using this. I haven’t experienced any bruising, but the soreness I felt in my face is similar to that I feel after lifting weights, when the muscle feels fatigued. That feeling lasted about two months, but I now no longer notice it. Overall, I'm pleased with this little device. If you get into a regular habit of using it, it makes a difference, and it's a nice way to make your skin look more refreshed and toned.

I have chubby cheeks, which are accentuated by my marionette lines (esp when I smile) and a slight double chin. I already got questions if I've lost weight after using it for only 3-4 times a week for ~1 month. I actually gained 4lbs but my friend, whom I haven't seen in a month, asked if I lost weight. I think it's cause my face looks more lifted. I haven't been able to notice a big change, but I see my fact everyday so it's difficult for one self to notice changes. PLUS, my TMJ/right jaw tightness seems to be relieved from using this frequently.

I love the nuface. I am 62 and o think daily use really helps keep my skin healthy looking. I have one issue though- it stops working after a few months. This is the second one I buy. There was an interim of say two years from when the first one I bought stopped working and buying a second one. I find it very frustrations that I am days outside the return period! This in Covid-19 times when going out is impossible. I think this company needs to address the mal functioning of this product. It’s a great product but the charging system needs to be improved.

I purchased this device almost a year ago. Initially I didn’t like the little shocking feeling so I did not use it. I decided to give it another try and I am SO glad that I did. 1. The shocking sensation went away, I think it’s important to use the right amount of the priming gel and to keep moving. Plus I think once you know it’s not actually hurting you, you “feel” it less or maybe just become accustomed to it. Stick with it! After just one 10-15 minute session I could see a difference! I used it again today and the results are exponential! I’ll be using this as often as I can. I focused initially on my jaw line and then moved the device up to my cheeks and eyes. It stung a little because I had been using retinoids last week and my skin is a little sensitive from it. I think I’ll skip that and just use this device! With just two full sessions I noticed * redness and irritation is reduced * cheeks are plump and more defined * jaw line is more defined * eye area looks more “awake” and refreshed * wrinkles are less noticeable * skin has a nice glow to it without being oily, I’m 40 and just now realizing my skin is starting to show signs of aging. I’ve been using various potions and lotions but this seems to give the immediate results I was hoping for. I wasn’t expecting to see anything with just one full session! Make sure you go thru a restart it when it shuts off so you can do other parts of your face. I experienced a metal taste when I was close to my mouth and flashing lights when close to my eyes. Both of these are normal and from what I’ve read it is safe. I’ll definitely be looking for any health info because this does seem too good to be true lol! I’m going to bring it with me on vacation- it is small enough and I’ll need less makeup if I use this. Somehow it even lessened the appearance of dark circles- Maybe by plumping the tissues so there isn’t as much of a recess? I’ll add photos later- I didn’t do a before photo so I’ll have to dig around my phone for one.

I, too, share the opinion of many of the people that purchased the Mini and are struggling to get it to work. I purchased in 2021 and recently dusted it off and hoped to start using again. I hadn’t been using it in probably 3 years and was using other skincare tools. I have tried charging the device for 24 hours, but, the device failed to turn on. Very disappointing considering the price.

Besides wearing moisturizer with SPF daily, this is the single best thing I've done for my face! I had a good feeling before buying this product (and it's not easy for me to chunk down $200 bucks for something, let me tell you!) and I'm glad I listened to my gut. I waited with baited breath for it to arrive, then was disappointed I had to wait until it charged up (at least 12 hours) to use it! But then, magically, with the first use it made a visible difference! I rolled it over one side of my face and showed my (then) boyfriend and he could point to which side I had done! After two months of using it every day for 5 minutes I'm sold! I use it in the morning so I look great all day while I'm awake. After I turned 40 (as I write this review I'm almost 43) I could literally FEEL the skin on my face being saggier! It bothered me a lot and I think some of it was due to stress and some to genetics. I especially disliked the deepening smile lines forming from my nose to mouth. But I had NO IDEA how much my forehead had sagged! The first time I use the NuFACE Mini it must have raised the skin up on my forehead a quarter inch! (I took before and after photos but due to poor bathroom lighting it doesn't do justice to the results.) Finally I feel like my face resembles what it was in my 30s again! I don't mean to sound vain, because I'm not, but a lot of pressure is put on us ladies to look our best. Now that I have my face looking good again, I can focus less on my appearance and back on the things that are important in my life. The initial tube of gel that it comes with lasted me 6 weeks. I suppose it depends how thickly you put it on. I took the reviewer's advice to buy the Spectra 360 Electrode Gel 3 pack and it's more economical. The gel can dry within the 5 minute time so I begin by applying it to my cheeks first, rolling the device over those areas, then applying gel to the forehead and finishing rolling the device there. I recommend watching the short video (the link is included with the instructions.) I'm super sensitive to pain and discomfort and I can tell you the device doesn't hurt at all when used on the electrode gel. But beware of going off the gel near the scalp as it could be prickly! Side Note: Since I needed to keep NuFACE Mini in my bathroom and I have a large mirror that spans the length of a double vanity, a cool idea I had was to buy a plastic soap dish (the suction cup sticks to the mirror) and it keeps it handy and plugged it all day like you would an electric toothbrush.

I previously had a nuface that I loved, but it broke the first time. I liked it so much that I decided to buy a second one. I bought this nuface in November and it broke once again.

A friend of mine told me about NUFace for Bell’s palsy. After researching that micro current therapy was FDA approved for Bell’s palsy since the 1980’s, I decided to purchase the NUFace mini and NUFace fix because it is more cost effective than purchasing the NUFace trinity with accessories . I purchased these more than a week after the onset of Bell’s palsy symptoms. I was on medications but I had seen no improvement on my face. Once I got my NUFace, I charged it for the recommended 12 hours before using. I watched YouTube videos and followed the directions it came with and used the device. I felt nothing - no pain or tingling and was unsure if it even worked. I wanted to feel something because I wanted so badly for my face to move again. Disappointed, I went on with the rest of my day. A few hours later, my husband started to see a little movement in my forehead when we were eating dinner! I was shocked and looked in the mirror to see for myself. It was true! I happily continued my treatment every day and each day I see improvement on the affected side of my face! After one week of use, my face is at about 85-90% improvement and I have no doubt it is because of the use of this machine! I will definitely continue to use this as part of my beauty regimen. If it works deep down for Bell’s palsy, I know it will do wonders for anti-aging and lifting! Thank you NUFace!
