Kaleidoscope EP

Just when you think you've figured Coldplay out, they go and release this excellent EP. Coldplay have been on a tear recently, dropping a new album every couple of years since Viva La Vida, Mylo Xyloto, Ghost Stories, and A Head Full Of Dreams. One might forgive them for slowing down even a little, but this Kaleidoscope EP (named after the song on AHFOD) is a welcome entry into their catalogue. Not only does it feature a thrilling 'Tokyo Remix' of their Chainsmokers collaboration 'Something Just Like This, but it also offers a throwback to their Parachutes album in ' All I Can Think About Is You.' Elsewhere, a new collaboration with wizard producer Brian Eno 'A L I E N S' results in a track that steers closer to Radiohead territory than anything else in Coldplay's discography. Hypnotised is a classic Coldplay ballad that will surely become a concert staple for years to come, but the real treat is the effortlessly gorgeous melody of 'Miracles (Someone Special),' an uplifting midtempo song featuring 'Big Sean' on guest rap. For a brief, 5-song EP compiled of songs written during their AHFOD tour, this is a surprisingly worthwhile entry into Coldplay's ouevre -- there's literally no filler, and every song earns its place.

Fascinante

I'm a die-hard Coldplay fan I'm still waiting to get the butterfly album The Rock and Rio set and I would like to have the big box set of 7 in inch 45 RPMs however that's going to take a little saving but every album that I have purchased has been perfect I read some reviews that claimed all this didn't sound right or some other BS but I have yet to have a single problem, well I do have one problem it's only Coldplay Mylo Xyloto album about the CD years ago and the sound quality and volume just absolutely sucked and it seems like that the same problem crept into the vinyl album as well the depths and volume just isn't there and I don't know why that is however since it had the same issue as a CD I bought many many years ago makes me think that it's the producers and not a defect in the album because every other album I bought is fantastic it's only this one it bugs me but I don't think there's anything anybody can do I could ask you to replace the album but I'm almost 100% sure that it would be the same is the one I have so therefore I will not waste your time but thank you for the way you package and ship these albums it's absolutely indestructible

Can't go wrong with ColdPlay

I like this EP infinitely better than their last full length album. The sound is superb and mesmerizing. Aliens 👽 blows me away..this is their best effort since Ghost Stories in my opinion. I didn't realize Chris could sing so low!

12 inch vinyl disc .. light blue limited edition... even though somewhere on cover / liner sleeve it says 45 RPM, it actually plays at 33 1/3 RPM. Great sound , crisp clear . Good song selection. If you're into Coldplay and have a turntable , get it. If you are just curious about Coldplay , get it .. very nice representation of what they can do ..

La verdad es buen disco, no tiene ruido; al principio pues claro pero ya a un vuelta completa el ruido se elimina creo que es más cuestión de la limpieza del LP, la calidad de la música es buena se escucha de manera increíble. Compré este disco por nostalgia jaja creo que de pequeña fue la primera canción de Coldplay que me marcó o que al menos me hizo sentir algo muy distinto y en el LP no es la excepción es una forma de revivir recuerdos y sentimientos con la claridad de la música en el tocadiscos girando.

Regalato a mia moglie, al fine di creare una piccola collezione di album di questo fantastico gruppo. Brani spettacolari, così come le pagine artistiche del libricino di copertina. Consegna Amazon veloce e sicura,come sempre!

Good EP from Coldplay well worth a listen.
