This was a hit with Mommy!
Great bottle. Minimizes gas in the baby's tummy.

Great!
These bottles were great for my son. Easy to clean. I don’t love that it has so many parts but they were needed for my son. The only reason I had to stop using them is because my son has to be on cereal now and doesn’t go through the parts.

No leaks, no nipple confusion, work perfect for us!
I received these at the hospital to use with my premie and I loved them so much I bought more. I'm having to pump and bottle feed to ensure baby is getting enough milk and she's having no problem switching back and forth between latching onto these and the breast. I haven't experienced any leaks with these (we use the old style 4 oz size) and no problems with spit up so far. Our baby just takes her bottle and goes right to sleep, no fussiness or colic at all. The only time she gets gassy is when she gulps too fast. There are a lot of parts to wash compared to some of the other brands, but it really isn't any more difficult than washing any other bottles. Overall I'd highly recommend these. They work great for us!

So glad I purchased this. Highly recommend for preemies
Comes with a bottle/nipple brush. My 5lb 15oz baby choked frequently on the medela slow for nipples. Got Dr. Brown's for preemies and we haven't had one incident. I used to dread feeding time as it was so hard watching her struggle to keep up with the flow. Now we enjoy every second of it. She can eat at her own pace. Which has extended significantly since switching. Minimal gas as well. We've used both breast and formula in the bottles and it works great with both!

So glad to have found these
My daughter was a preemie and we had a really hard time finding bottles she liked besides the uber expensive ready to feed Similac bottles and nipples. We had actually taken to using the Similac ready to feed nipples on other bottles because they were the only kind she liked. However, those nipples smell like really bad rubber and I think they are technically only recommended for one time use so we had to find something else. We tried Avent and Nuk, no dice. Then we tried these! She liked them right away. They are very small bottles, but we had a very small baby. If your baby is regular size I would probably skip right to the 4 oz bottles. We have since moved onto 4 oz and are now on the huge 8 oz bottles. We still keep these around to hold extra formula and for "snack bottles". The components really do help reduce bubbles and spitup. **I would also highly recommend you purchase the Dr. Brown's formula pitcher. It makes the formula very smooth and bubble free. My daughter only spits up now when her stomach is really upset or she is sick. She gained weight much more quickly after she stopped spitting up a good amount of her bottle due to air bubbles!

Winner!
We made the switch from Playtex to Dr. Brown when our son was having issues with spit up and gas. The first thing I noticed about these bottles is there was less dribbling during feedings. I have not found cleaning to be a problem. You do need to use the white disc in the bottles when traveling to keep the bottles from leaking (even if you keep them upright, they still somehow leak), but one solution I use is to pre-measure the powder in the bottle and ad water when ready (instead of carrying bottles of water and adding the powder). It's lighter in the diaper bag, less mess, easier to mix as you don't have to completely remove the components (just move them aside to pour the water in) and I don't have to fool with popping the white disc out by touching the nipple. I did not give the 4 oz bottles 5 stars as the stem barely reaches the top of the formula when filled to 4 oz. Even though I like the size, we found it better to make a 4 oz bottle in the 8 oz size so we don't have to worry about the blue tip being covered with formula.

stopped gas, pain, and spit-up in my baby
These bottles saved our lives. For three months our newborn screamed in pain with gas every night and spit-up after every meal. He was diagnosed with reflux and given Zantac which helped a bit but he still had a lot of pain and also couldn't eat enough in one go to sleep more than 2-3 hours at a time. We were exhausted and suffering because he was suffering. Then, a friend told me that her son and daughter-in-law had the same problem with their newborn and it was that they were using the Avent bottles and the baby was taking in lots of gas...they switched to Dr. Brown's and within one day the baby was 100% better and sleeping twice as long. So we though what the heck....overnight our lives changed dramatically. While our son still has the ocassional spit-up they are about 80% reduced and the first night on these bottles he slept 5 hours. Most importantly he no longer screams in pain. I LOVE these bottles. If your baby has gas pain or reflux PLEASE try them. The best thing in the world is that we no longer have to see our little one suffer for hours on end. Honestly, if I could I would personally buy them for every new mother with a baby that has gas problems.

Im in love with Dr.Brown.....
I brought these bottles based on there reviews and hearing that these bottles are great. So I tried them,I am a platex bottle feeder so for me to come out of my shell was odd.But I did and I must say I am so glad I did.My L.O is 6weeks and has had no problem with Gase or spit up.I have thes bottles in every size times 2... alot of people complain about cleaning them, well I must say things like that dont bother me if the product works.but here is what I do. Because my baby is still young,I only opened up 6 4oz bottles and 2 of the 2oz I did that si I dnt have a sink full of dirty bottles. The dirty nipples and other gadgets go in hot soapy water ( A plastic bowl) So as they sit they soak so there is no film or mildew or any kind of build up like people were saying.I boil my bottles and other pieces twice a day....with no hassle......
