The plastic itself is very sturdy and much higher quality than I expected. A few things I didn't like: 1) The top piece that covers the hole going into the house is just one-piece. So it's "permanently" attached to the house with screws/caulk. All the other pieces in the kit are 2-piece, meaning you can permanently mount the backing piece to the wall, and then pull front cover off anytime for servicing. 2) There are no clips or holes or anything to put zipties into to secure your lineset like some other kits have. Gotta get creative and work that out yourself. 3) The 90degree bend is so tight on these. I was not confident I could bend my lineset to fit without kinking it, so I bought a longer sweeping arc 90 from a different company and modified to fit. Wish they would include a more gradual bend on these kits.

These covers seem to be of good quality, but I guess time will tell how they hold up to the elements. One thing you should be aware of is that it is advertised as 16.5 feet, but that includes the 30"flexible piece. So if you do not need the flexible piece and you are doing a straight two story install, you will need another straight piece & joiner to finish. Without the flexible piece you get 13 ft total.

Flexible piece would need to be installed before connecting the refrigerant lines are connected. The Lower profile of this kit made it difficult to conceal refrigerant lines for my Mr Cool 25K unit… in the end it does look like a neat clean install
