Solid and practical!
Awesome, straightforward, and practical. Super easy to use, sounds good, and no firmware updates needed if you’re using it with Apple iOS devices. IK Multimedia makes an adapter that will power it, which I will purchase at some point. It’s worth noting that a One Spot adapter will work well, too. Highly recommended!

Easy to use and quiet. No noise or hiss at all.
Works very well. There is no hiss. I use it with the video recorder on the iPhone 16 Pro. I simply plugged it in and it worked.

High Quality Social Media Music Videos!
I got this so that I can record my guitar and stereo while filming on my iPhone. This is perfect for creating social media reels and videos without having to do much editing. Before I got this, I would have to record my guitar directly into my computer and record the video separately on my iPhone and then match them up. That tedious process is no longer needed. I plug my guitar pedal board and amp sims directly into this I rig pro duo, and it record on my phone camera. As soon as it's done, it's ready to post and sounds awesome!

The only way to get audio and conventional 5pin midi in and out of ipad
Using ipad pro12.5 3gen. Nice pad BUT. Thanks to stupid apple people . No more phone jack and only one usbCport. Thats bloody it! So you need this pricy but good. At first it didnt work at all. caused ipad to freeze in garageband. The secret is this... Turn ipad off then Plug this into ipad. Then boot ipad. That got it working. Also the ipad keys still work along with midi input. Have not put any audio input yet. For me its mostly to play the synths and sounds of the ipad on a real keyboard into amp and speakers, because ipad had really good sound generators. Also output midi note data to other synths using great ios apps like "progressions"that generate chord various chord structures. So this box although pricy gets the ipad working in the serious studio setting. Or also the home music setup. PS. You will also need a good usb cameraport dongle to use this box AND keep the ipad charged. Yet another Stupid but likely intentional oversight of apple. Shouldn't need all this dongle mess with modern devices. I like what ipads do... but i have good reason to hate the apple company

Works
Definitely allowed me to use the SM58 microphone to record audio into my iphone both with the Voice Memo app as well as with the Garageband app. I also was able to record audio using the SM58 into my older macbook pro computer into the Garageband program!

Horrible modern tech company. Tech needs to be stopped.
This company is the worst of the worst. I will return this immediately if I am no helped. Here are the problems: #1 They give you your registration # on a small card in a box. What is this 1910? I'm not sure if this is because they don't want people reselling their product but IN AMERICA WE SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO RESELL AND FIX THINGS WE OWN! TECH AND CAR COMPANIES NEED TO BE STOPPED. THIS IS NOT FAIR TO THE MIDDLE CLASS. But there's more! I DID REGISTER THIS BECAUSE IM RESPONSIBLE! WAHOO!! When I tried to do everything the little card said there were lots of bugs with the registration UI. I kept trying and trying and I felt like I was on some third party website. At the end of the day I entered all my info but I wasn't sure if it went through or not. It seemed like a scam. Was this because I bought it through Amazon.com? I'm not sure. I had a lot of registration issues but I DID ALL THAT WAS ASKED. I assumed that I would be in the system or my registration would be sent to me digitally after filling out all the forms. #2 If you lose your registration # you have to go through their website BUT YOU CAN'T CREATE A HELP TICKET OR GET HELPED WITHOUT THE REGISTRATION NUMBER! WOW! Wonderful way to be hands off and take no responsibility. Listen. I get Amazon boxes everyday. THE FIRST THING I DO IS THROW THEM AWAY. I DON'T HAVE ROOM IN MY HOUSE FOR CRAP. In addition high quality products have always had serial numbers on them. This idea that they give it to them separately in my opinion is to free them from responsibility. I mean look at their annoying apps it's all "in the box" you can't do anything without downloading their huge software package which is just an excuse for them to give you advertisements. TO ME THIS IS PUSHY PUSHY CAR SALES TYLE TACTICS. I PAY YOU. WE'RE DONE. END OF OUR RELATIONSHIP. I DON'T WANT ADDS AND EMAILS FROM YOU FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE BECAUSE I BOUGHT ONE SMALL THING FROM YOU. I DON'T HAVE TIME TO DEAL WITH THIS FROM EVERY COMPANY I PURCHASE FROM IN MY YEARS OF EXISTANCE. IT ADDS UP. IT ALL JUST BECOMES SPAM, SALES NOTIFICATIONS. #3 Everyone is home for COVID. Why can't they just answer their phones? They want it to be email but phones are faster. How is Email going in a modern direction? So even after you get through to them (since you can't get through without the tiny little card they gave you) they tell you to hang up and email them. #4 The software is all in the box like I mentioned. It's horrible. It's just one big piece of unnecessary software that tries to sell you stuff. The recording industry has always had a knack for keeping things very high end and respectable now for years, to me this is going the wrong direction. What if every company did this? It seems so heavy and like I have to cram my computer with tons of unnecessary crap in the day and age of lightweight and simple touchscreens.

IRig Pro Exceptional
I have two working iRig Pros and use them mainly for online Karaoke and live broadcast. They fit my needs perfectly and I would recommend them highly. Easy to use. Value for the cost. Have used my original for over 5 years with zero problems. I however, would recommend iRig either supply or recommend specific DC adapter(s) with information on the exact size of connection to the iRig.

My laptop died on me in the middle of recording some guitar for a client. I bought this to plug into my iPhone and finish the job using GarageBand and it is perfect for that. I’ve now bought a new MacBook and can confirm the usb c connector is compatible with the usb/thunderbolt they now use so I’ll continue using this until I get something better. Limitations are around connectivity. Just one mini Jack headphone output but it’s to be expected on a little unit like this. I will need to get something with multiple ins and outs to get back to serious recording but this will still have a place in my set up for any future emergencies. Not tried any of the software yet but I’m sure it’ll be good for what it is. I tend to work with logic use real amps and effects but I will experiment with it at some point

Top quality. But only thing is it doesn’t come with power supply adapter + a little expensive… but all worth it..
