Works Well on Wide Frame
This protector fit around a very wide (>3") Specialized eMTB carbon downtube and serves to protect it from the jaws of my Thule EasyFold XT rack system. It has an elastic band that allows it to fit a wide range of tube sizes without adding too much additional width (maybe .25" each side?).

Great protection for my carbon fiber ebike. I was afraid to use Thule bike clamps but this protects my frame without any damage to the frame.

Wipe downtube clean prior to attaching.
It is adequate to the task, but you need a damp rag to wipe off the frame where it attaches in order to avoid trapping grit between it and the downtube and causing damage to the paint.
